ok these shapes.inc ads are getting really annoying

i think the worrying thing about them (and I saw this mentioned in another post as well) is how similar they are to regular Tumblr posts. ive accidentally clicked on them multiple times because I think its a regular blog, especially since they're using media like TADC to promote the site. The one that sticks out to me is the one with the "if ___ had Whatsapp" meme, because it is clearly redrawn with the TADC cast BY A HUMAN. someone who took the time to draw in each character on the template. and that's what's concerning. This AI company is shamelessly stealing other's art, not to feed into the slop generators, but to promote their product. The fact that art is stolen off of the Internet to help with image generation is bad enough, but this is a whole other level of audacity.

because it wasn’t supposed to be queerbait. ten years. look back on ten years of footage. look back on footage from a month ago. it wasn’t supposed for be queerbait. crazy together. the van scene. mikes monologue. the field scene. this was intentional. they knew what they were doing. but now, the show that started for nerds and freaks and got too popular, they’re scared of upsetting the jason’s who watch (that i dont even know why they watch). they can’t just up and say it’s queerbait because it wasn’t going to be. this was intentional. and now, we have every right to be mad because we thought we were, for once, getting good rep. but the duffers are too much of fucking cowards to do that, i guess. and now everyone saying it’ll feel rushed is going be right - they built it up only to tear it down. and then they’ll have two hours to put it back together and honestly, that would be a miracle.
