Craneurysms: The Inner Workings of Ichabod Crane
The Horseman of Pestilence is as relentless as his three brothers: War, Famine, and Death. What makes him worse is that he strikes without warning and, similar to Death, he strikes without mercy. Sickness follows him like a shadow; everyone suffers as a result. But that doesn't stop work here at Sanctuary Enterprise. It only adds fuel to our righteous fire. We work tirelessly to protect our communities from the evil of this "Coronavirus". It truly is the work of Pestilence himself. Sadly, as long as he still roams the planet, we unfortunately must cope with the harsh reality of being stuck with him for a while. Fret not fair denizens, we have not given up hope; nor will we ever.
However, that's not to say that life hasn't been difficult. I have been told by various employees that what we are going through is similar to what these "Avengers" went through from the moving pictures "Infinity War" and "Endgame". Said principle referring to the fact that half of all sentient life in our universe has either been snuffed out and/or infected. By witnessing this, we are experiencing firsthand how life could go on IF Pestilence remains unchecked. That's not to say that this pandemic society is not without its perks; there is limited pollution, crime is decreasing at an exponential rate, and there is minimal traffic out on the roads. The latter, according to the lieutenant, is seen as a major upside. I fully understand that disease is rarely humorous; but one must find positives in life in order to cope with said societal reality at hand.
I, myself, have been finding several upsides to society since first arriving in this new timeline back in 2013. It's become more of a habit at this point, but have been getting used to it. I'm not saying that we should move on, I'm merely saying that we should stand firm against this heinous plague that has wrought nothing but despair upon our realm. I ask you now, as a former soldier, will you stand with me? Sound off in the commentary section below, if you do. Godspeed to you all and may you rest easy knowing that Sanctuary Enterprise will always have your backs.
