Kara knew the phrase, but not from experience, and thus was unsure how to answer his question. She continued to look at him with confusion for a long moment, before deciding the answer didn’t matter.
She squeezed Alice’s hand to reassure her before stepping forward. “Thank you,” she murmured, flashing him a soft smile. “I am in your debt.”
“We just want to be safe. Can you help us?”
