Okay do elves just have really resistant feet or do the game artists at Dragon Age just really like feet
From a story perspective I can understand Fenris not wearing shoes but only to a certain extent. I imagine it might have still been a thing when he was a slave, Danarius or Hadriana using it almost like torture or a constant reminder that elves aren’t even people blah blah blah.
Another part of that would be intimidation factor: The idea that this slave is such a hardened killer that even glass shards or rocks won’t stop him from fucking destroying you.
But then in Dragon Age 2 he still doesn’t wear them? Maybe he got used to it. Maybe he’s flexing. Maybe he prefers to feel the ground beneath him. I feel like elves probably just like the connection to the ground and feel like shoes cut them off from it (Kinda like Toph from Avatar)
But then in Blue Wraith he has boots??? Did u change ur mind, bud???
What would be neat is if the Inquisitor came back for DA4 and still fought like can u imagine a disabled hero protagonist? Is it just me? No arm, still up for kicking Solas’ ass.
I mean my archer Inquisitor, Lanse, kinda joined with the Red Jenny’s and got this Cool Crossbow Arm so honestly I don’t think it’s that far fetched? I just think it would be neat.
More Headcanon Ramblings
If you don’t like mental illness headcanons or in-depth talk about mental illnesses then there’s no need to read further. It’s all gucci, go about your business my lovelies!
When I say “I lovecrossovers” Idk if some people realize what that means.
For me that means “I can fit a character into practically any world with varying levels of detail depending on how much I like the worlds.”
For example. While I dislike RWBY as a show, I highly enjoy the premise and find the world interesting for the most part. I automatically drew parallels with RWBY and Soul Eater. Both are schools for kids who hunt monsters. EASY crossover.
If I enjoy two universes I can cross them over. X-Men and dragon age? Well different races already exist in Dragon Age. What if we play it like a regular Modern Fantasy universe where magic grew and evolved with technology? That means that Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Qunari can have their own unique mutations for each race. Spirits and ghosts already exist in X-Men sometimes, so Cole could remain pretty much the same.
‘Normal’ sources where the characters are just humans crossing over into magical worlds is easy. Either just give them powers that would be plausible in that universe, or have them remain human and just play up the idea that they’re out of their element when surrounded by all these magical things.
Hell, I can even create entirely different backstories for characters to fit into either world. If one character is going to be integrated into the other’s world then just adjust that character’s backstory.
Cole can canonically read Solas (An Actual Fucking Elven God) passively until Solas blocks him off. So if a psychic in X-Men didn’t realize what he was doing, they probably wouldn’t even notice he was reading their emotions and pasts. It’s just something that calls out to him, and people have to basically block off their emotions to stop him. But Solas was only able to tell what Cole was doing when Cole spoke.
Cole will interact with anyone who he thinks might need help. This could count villains as well if they’re more... Morally Grey rather than straight-up evil. If they’re lashing out due to being hurt then he’ll still try to help until they show him they either can’t or don’t want to be helped. Someone like Loki from Marvel? He’d try to help. The Joker? Hell Fucking Nah. Kingpin? Oh boy would he get a visit from Cole to Talk About Feelings.
Y’all I’m serious when I say I love crossovers. I’m fucking serious.

I'd square up for any of my friends and loved ones but the problem is that anyone on the planet could probably snap me in half like a toothpick
Still laughing at the fact that Death the Kid thought it’d be a great idea to question the man who is very quickly losing his grip on reality for information on his father.
The boy was either that desperate or very stupid.
