Could I request headcanons for Wolverine, Deadpool, Nightcrawler and poly! Wolverine and Deadpool reacting to shy gn reader giving him a love letter to him/them before running away please?
thank you so much again for your patience and understanding! (i also added remy, as i assume that's a character wanted as in previous headcanons, if i'm assuming the same anon, because who doesn't love remy, and i assume maybe he was forgotten in the request😂)
remy
you're sick, and cursing out the forces that knocked you out. you feel weak, which is unfortunate as an x-man, where you feel it's necessary to be strong all the time. thankfully, remy volunteered to take care of you, claiming that his gumbo would make you feel better over night. a "special recipe" he says. you're thankful that remy offered to take care of you, as you have grown to have a strong crush on him. but, you feel awful for putting him out of his way to cook and look after you, even if he volunteered.
he enters your room, carefully keeping an eye on the hot food. he places the tray in front of you, bowing slightly to get a laugh out of you. it works, and he treasures the sound. you eat as he sits with you, making small conversation. you compliment his cooking, and he slightly reddens. it's his love language, and he's glad he can use it on you. you finish quickly, feeling slightly better already. partly because you have a growing crush and he went out of his way to make it for you, but something in the spices made you feel better. but you groan when remy gives you the cold medicine for the night.
you claim it makes you delirious, but remy is stubborn and wants you better. "fine, but only if you stay the night with me." you don't know where you got so bold, but you're quick to back track and feel more flushed than usual because of the request, saying that only until you fall asleep. remy finds it endearing though, and agrees to your terms, making himself comfortable on the futon you have after you take your medicine. he finds your shyness cute, growing to love that part of you.
after taking the medicine, you both talk for a little longer until the sleepiness takes over. you're quick to enter the delirious part though, and confess that you have a letter written for him, and how you're always to scared to give it to him. that perks remy's interest, and he desperately wants to know. he feels slightly bad trying to get the information out of you on where you keep the letter, but who knows if you'd ever tell him outside of this? you point vaguely, but that's all remy needs to find the letter.
he reads it over, and is shocked to see how detailed your feelings for him are. he's glad he found this and knows your feelings for him. he glances back over to you, now deep asleep, and smiles. he cleans up the tray around you and takes it back to the common room to clean, excited to see you in the morning.
you wake up bright and early, feeling back to normal. you get ready for the day, and exit your room. you're shocked by remy greeting you across the hall, leaning against it. he hops up when he sees you, and has a shit eating grin on his face. "ah, chere. in your delirium, you may have pointed out a letter." your face feels heated, and you look to find an exit out of this scenario, hating your delirious self for telling him about that letter. but, remy continues on. "i found it to be wonderful, and i'm glad that i found out about your feelings. i feel the same way, and wanted to let you know." his grin softens, showing his sincerity. you gauge that, and he senses it. he holds out a hand, and you slowly take it as he brings you in for a soft kiss. finally.
logan
you watch logan and charles meander around the campus from your room, where you can only imagine logan is attempting to convince charles for new equipment in the gym. you can't help but admire how he seems to soften when talking to people he likes, in conversation that isn't heavy. you've grown to really love logan over time from the missions you had together; you're one of the few he has in his trusted circle and a bond you won't break.
but, because of not wanting to break that bond, you're struggling in wondering if you should tell him about your feelings for him. in risk of him pushing you away, and kicking you out of his circle. but, from some persistence from storm to tell him your feelings, you've written a letter to give to logan. you feel slightly cowardly in doing so, but you know you would be a shaking mess trying to tell him through words.
you use your power, thinking of logan's location, and appear next to him, interrupting the conversation. he jumps, clearly not expecting you to come out of thin air. charles only smiles, knowing what you're coming down to do. you can only mumble an apology for scaring him, hand him the sheet of paper (shaking like a leaf), and concentrate on your room and disappear as fast as you appeared.
you can only pace back and forth in your room, carving a path into the rugs. you eventually find yourself on your bed, facing the wall. you fear you'll have to move away after the few hours you're waiting, wishing you never let storm convince you into confessing. you knew logan would never feel the same, and you should have stayed in the lane, cherishing what connection you already had. you feel the tears start to shed, and you feel incredibly nervous thinking about the many paths that might occur - all negative - and feel like you might hyperventilate.
a knock at the door takes you out of your feelings, and you launch up, feeling frazzled. you crack open the door, and your eyes widen at logan standing there, who looks as rugged as you've ever seen him. but you don't take long to try and shut the door on him; which he blocks with his foot and opens your room. "please don't disappear on me bub." he says, when he sense you about to leave.
"i'm sorry if you felt too nervous to tell me to my face. i know i can be intimidating to many, but i never wanted that for you, when you want to express any of your feelings to me, and for me." he says, walking up to you. he gently wipes the extra tears from your eyes, as to not spook you further. he harbored feelings for you as well, but always thought himself to be too gruff for you, too much grit for someone who's been alive as long as he has. but he was drawn in by your shy sweetness, and had to confront his feelings when you confessed. hence why it took so long to express his own feelings, ones you could read in his eyes. he drew you in close, putting his head close to yours; "i'll give you a kiss to remember when we have the first date of our lives." he promises, and you can only start to smile; one he'll cherish that he got to put on your face.
wade
wade is... a lot. he's off the walls as a way to buffer his trauma to the rest of the world. you see through him though, and decided to stick around as a partner in crime with him. it took a lot to get here though; when wade saw you nervously sticking by his side initially, he'd call you a twitchy rabbit, the way you would nervously shake, unsure if he wanted you to stick around. but from there, he appreciated you sticking around and how you put up with his awful jokes and banter.
but in those rare moments, in between his snarky banter, he's serious with you. he's revealed his past, what his mission is for. it makes your heart warm that he cares that much for his dead wife, but that reason alone is why you don't tell him your feelings. you're too nervous for that, adamant in your knowledge that you never fall in love with someone who is on a killing mission to avenge his dead wife. well, you may have fell in love, but you would not tell him your feelings.
wade, on the other hand, wonders if you'll ever tell him about your feelings. he really liked your sense of personality, thinking your shy behavior was beyond adorable. but, he knows that his mission for his wife might be something that gets in the way of you asking him if he likes you back. so, on the mission of different timelines, and finding out vanessa was dating another man altogether, it was a whirlwind of trying to stay alive and make out what exactly happened.
when back in wade's apartment with a small gathering of people (including vanessa, with her partner, and wade and her agreed to friendship), after the entire events had happened and wade wasn't wiped from the world, things were different between you and wade. you strayed form each other at the party, and you felt you had to avoid him. you knew this had to be your moment to confess, or it would never happen again. but you had to hype yourself up, and make yourself do it.
in the end, while everyone was at the table talking, you pulled the note out of your pocket and hand it to the new logan. he sees wade written on it, and can only roll his eyes slightly as he plays part in the game to get the note to wade. now that it was out of your hands, your stomach twisted and your palms felt sweaty. when wade gets the note, he smiles, knowing this had to be it. he makes eye contact with you briefly, in which you then skirted your gaze to the food in front of you.
wade glimpsed through the note, enjoying the content, before he threw it onto the table in front of him and leaped up. "well, sugar lips, i think this is a great time to say i've gathered feelings for you as well over the time i've gotten to know you, and would like to take this time to kiss you deeply. if everyone would like to watch, you're more than welcome, otherwise, leave." everyone groaned, while you could only suppress a smile. what a wade way to confess, as you stood up, walked to him, and pulled him into the kiss.
kurt
the mansion is quiet today, one you relish when you can. you were off the hook on teaching today, as it was incredibly snowy outside and the kids were antsy to go outside and play. you park yourself in front of the communal fireplace, finding coziness in the warmth. not many others enjoy the fireplace to the extent you do, much preferring to cozy up in their rooms. sleepily, you curl up on the couch, letting the flames roll over your body. the sleep gets knocked out quickly though, because kurt pops in with his teleportation.
you pop up from your laying position, feeling warm that he caught you lazing around. "you don't have to worry about your perception around me. sorry if i startled you, ja? i have a bad habit of startling others, and you looked comfortable." he says softly, and you go back to relaxing against the couch instead of laying down. it takes a while to feel comfortable with people like this, especially in instances where you can allow yourself to relax. with kurt, you're a lot more comfortable than you would be with others.
you and kurt get to talking, and you lose yourself in his eyes and demeanor around you. he's soft spoken, and you think that's part of the reason why you feel more comfortable talking with him. but you find yourself getting in your head, wondering if he was truly enjoying your company. kurt senses your worry, how you shyly curl into yourself, and lightly places his hand on yours, reassuring you through sitting closer and intently focusing on you. it causes you to stumble over your topic of next steps in the classroom, along with what you plan to do on your day off.
soon, the night grows upon you both, and you feel a bit sad. as you both get up to go to bed, you don't know what comes over you to give kurt your confession; maybe it's the day you spent together, maybe it's the lengthy friendship you share where kurt has been nothing but patient in your shyness to open up to him. but you feel this is a natural point to let him know your feelings, and you hand him his note as you walk back to your room.
when you enter your room, you get set up for the night, wondering what might happen tomorrow when you run into kurt. you're worried you're about to ruin the friendship, but you feel like he needs to know. it's a big step for you, and you hope at least you can remain friends if he doesn't reciprocate. but you don't have to worry about the rest of the night and sitting in your worry instead of sleeping; kurt teleports in, causing you to startle again. you'll never be used to it, and kurt apologizes again.
"i'll have to teleport to where i can get your attention first. but i had to come in, because i'm excited. i'm glad to know of your feelings for me, and would like to let you know i feel the same way. i think it's cute you told me like that." he says, tail flicking behind him in excitement. he uses it to bring you closer, and you can only laugh, ducking your face into his neck. you look up shyly, and he kisses your nose softly, looking at you with love in his eyes, excited for the dates.
poly!logan and wade
you adored their relationship; how wade got under logan's skin, how they both had each other's back in battle, how logan would be snarky with wade. they were meant for each other, and you so desperately wanted to be part of it. you loved them both in your recent working relationship with them. you grew close with them on your venture to the multiverse, and from there, they accepted you into their team. but, you wanted closer than that. too chicken to tell them though, forever holding in the feelings, because would they even want a third person?
it's the end of the mission you all had, and quite frankly, it took a lot out of you. when you and the guys were on the train back to the shared apartment (yes, you crash there with three people), you fell asleep on logan's shoulder. wade, on the other side of logan, laughed at him for growing soft for even letting you sleep on him. logan rolls his eyes, at the same time wade notices two notes with his and logan's name on them respectively. wade grabs them, disregard for your privacy.
when logan gives him a warning look, wade explains that you would have given them over eventually, why not expedite the process? so, he hands logan's over, who admittedly, is also curious about what you have to say. do you secretly not want to work with them anymore and had to figure out what to say when you left? so, they open them, and are shocked to see your words. you're so shy, of course it would be on paper you would confess, but they thought you wouldn't want to be in a relationship with them because of how loud or abrasive they could be. but they were touched by the loving words you crafted.
you're shaken awake by the intuitive knowledge you were at your stop, and blearily look over to wade and logan to see if they were ready to leave. but you freeze when you see they have your notes. your eyes widen as your eyes fill with tears now that they know. you use your powers, invisibility, to get out of this humiliation ritual. you bolt out of the train doors, and wade and logan are close behind, trying to find you. thankfully, logan had an expert sense of smell, and was able to follow your trail back to the apartment.
you're shakingly packing up, prepared for them to kick you out. they weren't supposed to find out ever, or unless you got some sort of signal they were taking a third person. you're stopped from your packing by a hand around your wrist, gentle, and guided away. you turn to see logan on your wrist and wade at the doors entrance. they look at you with reverence, knowing you're incredibly nervous now.
"darling, we don't want you to leave us. in fact, if we had any hint you had feelings for us before these letters, we would have jumped on it. i'm glad to have read these, even though asshole over here had to jump in on your privacy to do so. but we love you to, on our talk over here. we want you to be part of the relationship." logan says, and you look over at wade for confirmation. "yes, sugar plum. we love you too, and our feelings developed over the course of knowing you." you sigh in relief, wiping away tears, and wrap them into a hug.
