okay so khaenri’ah =/= rome/ greece

khaenri’ah = troy

reason 1: the fall of khaenri’ah and the fall of rome are two very different things

the “fall of rome” refers to a centuries-long decay of the empire’s power​

rome didn’t fall in a day

khaenri’ah was destroyed by war

troy was also destroyed by war (with gods involved, related to a contest over gifts)

(yk the story, venus promises a guy called paris helen’s hand if he’ll give her the apple and call her the most beautiful goddess)

reason 2: troy and khaenri’ah were both destroyed in conflicts with/ between gods.

in the homeric tradition (iliad + odyssey + aeneid) the gods use their chosen champions (achilles vs paris, aeneas vs jaturna/ turnus) as essentially pieces in a big game of chess (ingo bongo, gnosis = chess piece yk)

reason 3: troy was survived by a small group, lead by aeneas, a prince with divine blood

abyss prince with the power of a god, prince who watched the fall of the city and set out to travel the world.

Ok. Im only kinda following here. Who is Ad*m and why do we hate him and keep censoring his name?

ad*m is sk8’s main antagonist. he’s a skateboarder that used to hang out with cherry and joe when they were teenagers, but he started skating more and more recklessly and it upset cherry, so cherry and joe tried to convince him to cut that shit out but he didn’t and moved to america instead. like a little bitch.

im putting the rest under a cut because i didn’t expect to write this much but i should have because i can’t fucking shut up about this show

when he came back, he was intent on finding a skateboarder who could keep up with him, and if you couldn’t keep up, he hurt you. like. REALLY hurt you. he would skate recklessly in order to harm his opponents who weren’t on his level. it’s heavily implied that he and cherry were a Thing briefly when they were much younger.

in canon era, he comes back to okinawa, looking for someone who is his perfect match. he sees langa skate once and decides that langa’s The One. his perfect match. his “eve.”

he becomes totally obsessed with langa and it’s GROSS. he’s determined to race against langa, and they do, but the race is interrupted and they never finish. so ad*m plans a tournament that he thinks will get him to finally finish a race with langa. he picks competitors out of a hat, and instead of getting langa, like he wanted, he gets cherry.

he is VISIBLY dismayed by this. so they race. and cherry is good. like he’s a GOOD fuckin skater. he dodges one of adam’s best skateboarding moves, and adam decides he can’t risk losing. so he GETS OFF HIS SKATEBOARD, TAKES A RUNNING START, AND SMACKS CHERRY WITH IT. WITH. THE SKATEBOARD. just TOTALLY knocks him out. cherry’s fuckin DECIMATED.

(and YES i feel awful for cherry, it’s TERRIBLE, because he breaks cherry’s right arm and left leg and it lands him in a wheelchair for a while but it’s also one of the funniest moments in the series just because it’s so Out of left field??? like it’s so incredibly unexpected that you kinda have to laugh.) anyway. ad*m is a bitch motherfucker, and i just covered SOME of what he does. he also treats his assistant like a dog. and refers to him as a dog. he is GROSS

so THAT’S why we censor ad*m.

I dint want a all powerful dragonborn. I want Arisa to struggle with her dragonblood. To struggle with every choice she makes because now, with the added knowledge that she is the dragonborn, everyone judges her for her actions and she has consider the ramifications of every decision. I also want her to be frightened by her own power. I've seen alot of takes of the dragonborn being unafraid of anything. Fear isnt a bad thing, imo. Its severity depends on much a person will allow it to cloud thier judgement and influence their actions. Arisa pushes that fear and it's hard but she does it, her dragonblood slowly overwhelming the soft human side of her. I know there is a major incident that causes her to lose her way for a bit. It changes her and much of the softer part of her is destroyed by it. But that's a long way off from where she is atm. I dunno,I hope, my writing will be able to reflect those types of emotions/reactions well in her story eventually..
