Today was the day and belle wasn’t sure if she should be anxious or excited. She’d mentally prepared herself the night before, but well, honestly, she hadn’t slept it wink. She couldn’t help laying in bed going over all the different scenarios and the ways this could pan out a disaster. But then at least it was Erik that was posing as her supposed boyfriend. That fact calmed her but also made her even more nervous. Maybe there was more to how she felt about the other than she cared to admit, and well, belle was frightfully afraid that their friendship would just not be the same after tonight.
Regardless, she tried to put all those thoughts aside as she got ready. Slipping out of her house in the early mornings only to pop into his -- his delightful mother greeting her and inviting her in for breakfast. Happily, belle accepted, preferring the company of his family much more so than her dysfunctional one. Sipping orange juice from a glass, teeth biting down on the plastic straw as Erik came into view, she managed to chime out a cheery. “good morning soldier! ya ready to go to war?” The metaphor quite accurate, given he’d be meeting the didonatos soon. It all their glory and chaos.
