Black Dagger Brotherhood
So I'm starting this blog about the BDB and all things BDB. I started reading in 2005 with Lover Eternal. That was back when the books came out every 6 months. I was automatically hooked.
I immediately went on Amazon and got Dark Lover and my life was changed forever.
I was one of the original Cellies on the Yahoo board for the BDB. I was so shy and I didn't think I could fit in. I made myself a vow that I would post 100 times by the time Lover Avenged came out. I crushed that goal and I met my tribe. We were the original Qhuay girls. Ya know, Qhuinn + Blay. We had our own room on the board, Qhuay's Locker Room. We posted daily and it was where the Warden would come and grace us with her presence. Sometimes we were lucky enough to see the Brothers posting on the Board. These became the Slices of Life that are in the Insider's Guide.
I was the Qhuay cheerleader and I would post daily cheers about the boys getting their own HEA. I had a blast. I finally got to meet the girls in the room when we met up in Kentucky to go to a book signing for Lover Mine. We had so much fun talking and laughing and having such a good time we had security called on us twice. It was all worth it in the end when the Warden announced that the boys were getting their HEA. Then she announced that with all the support the boys were getting they were getting their own full sized book!!! Not a background story, not a side book, but their own BDB book. It came out on March 26, 2013.
Now here we are in 2025. So many books have come out since then. We are now in the next generation. The signing events are now other worldly in size. WE ARE FINALLY SEEING THE BOOKS BEING MADE INTO A SERIES. (I'm so freaking excited I can hardly contain myself!) We are cosplaying characters, which was unheard of until Lassitar, and this signing event in September is going to be the biggest yet.
