If I’m interpreting your latest lone Emmet and cub au update correctly, Ingo got better when Emmet got better and Emmet got better after eating a Blissey egg.

Now, while I’m VERRRRRRRRRRY interested to find out about the twin pain sharing thing and finding out the reason behind how/why this phenomenon is even happening, I figure you’ll tell us at some point so now my question to you is:

After weeks of starving (or possibly eating his own arm for sustenance as well so that Zora doesn’t get suspicious), how was Emmet feeling after finally being able to eat something again, and said something was a magical nutritious egg that already makes people happy from just one bite. I can only imagine it was a near transcendent experience by that point.

Also, did the Blisseys help nurse Emmet back to health, or did the Zoroark pack kinda just went “thanks for the egg, we’ll take it from here” and steal him away to help him recover?

I actually had no plans on elaborating within the story about their connection and okay with leaving most of it up to the readers, but here are the basics!

They don't feel every single thing they both experience, but rather the more traumatic or shocking physical experience. The first time they experienced this was when Ingo broke his leg as a kid.

However, that was the the last time they experience the clear connection. They probably felt some smaller ones as they grew up when one of them stubbed a toe or something but nothing big to notice. That is until Emmet's arm incident o_o;

Man, I can't even imagine how delicious that Blissey egg was for Emmet after suffering for weeks! He deserves it after all he's been through!

I think the Blisseys stayed until Emmet's health was at least stable enough for the zoroarks to take care of him since they wanted to make sure he is in the clear and not fall back into the danger zone. Gotta leave the healing to the healers! I imagine the Blisseys to be like the capibaras of the pokemon world where most if not all are chill with them because they help heal and have no issues with them.

But also I love imagining a Blissey being so hardcore healer the zoroarks were too intimidated to interrupt them XD

I just found out about your isat live blogs and it is so fun to watch them while I’m also playing the game. Like! Yes yes, I know EXACTLY what you’re going through! And no, I don’t know what’s happening either! I’m not that much further ahead of you yet! But also, you played the game a different way from me, so it’s fun to see what differences there are. You found a lot of secrets earlier than I did, but you also looped back and forth way more than I did. I went through the loops the whole way each time, except the times I reached a dead end. (Gotta suffer through the time loop madness with Sif. Solidarity.) So it’s interesting to see which secrets were available in the earlier acts and which one weren’t! in all honesty i didnt loop that much, im only on loop 18. i assume people often go in triple digits while playing... i just collected a bunch of quests and did several things in one loop.

and i preferred to go through the entire house too!! even if that means Going Through The Tutorial. mainly because i was Adamant to find every button to push for odile before i knew it was an act 3 exlusive ( ﹁ ﹁ ).... also because if siffrin suffers im not going to let them suffer alone.

Question: can Emmet feel anything in his metal hooves or the ring around his body? Or only at the points where they’re attached to him? Like, if someone grabbed/hit his rings, or if he stepped on something sharp or something cold, would he feel it in any way?

My thinking is that Emmet's hooves can't feel sensation (for instance, if someone were to lightly touch them, he wouldn't feel anything) but, like a horse or other hooved animals, he can feel the impact from his hoof hitting the ground. The ring is similar I think, no sensation if someone were to touch it but I imagine that if it was hit right it would reverberate and feel incredibly uncomfortable where it touches the skin. As for cold, they are metal, so walking on icy ground must be somewhat uncomfortable. Imagine walking in the snow with metal shoes on!

Just read the newest webtoon chapter for TGED, and uh, wow. Your posts and tags about Lloyd only being able to see the world in a “if I have money, it will be okay, money makes the world go round” and him using money as a justification to help people, denying the idea that he cares for the people around him, kinda paints the new chapter in a different light and wOW, who hurt this man? Who made him think people can’t be kind Just Because? I just wanna talk.

and like to me? it sorta reads as lloyd choosing to believe that. it's him choosing to believe that no one can be kind for free because if people can be nice, if they can be kind, if they can help others with nothing in exchange then that means someone could've helped him all along and everyone around him simply chose not to. everyone around him saw him suffering and drowning and clinging to life by the tip of his fingers... and didn't saw someone worth helping. if people can be kind to others for free, then that means there was something about him that made everyone around him not want to help him.

so he chooses to believe that people don't do nice things without getting something in return. everyone needs to want something because then he can make sure to always have something to offer in exchange. he needs to believe that people need to get something in order to help others, because then it's in his control if he gets help or not. he'd rather believe it was him not having something to offer that made people not want to help him, than believe it was simply a matter of bad luck that he was surrounded by unkind people.

because then he can make sure it never happens again. he can be in control and get money and have something to offer in exchange for getting the help he needs. or even better yet, if he has money he doesn't have to rely in other people to get what he wants and that way there's no chance for someone to be cruel to him again.

PLUS you can also argue this is his way of taking care of his people too. he's been burned before, he's tried to help people before and it's backfired on him in the past. so this is him telling them to not be stupid like he was, to not work for free like he did, this is him saying the things he wished someone had told him in the past.

and also it's just sort of what any decent boss would do, it is very kind of them to offer to work for free, don't get me wrong it is incredibly nice (and lloyd definitely needed to see that, he needed to experience the kindness his own actions had earned him) but ultimately lloyd does have a responsibility with them and he wants to fulfill it in any way he can with what he has at his disposal.
