I physically need to hear Don Cheadle say that line. It has to happen at some point. His character is 1000% done with everything most of the time, but for this one moment, he’s genuinely surprised.

Heh, just for extra fun, the “Ricky” mentioned is a retired mafia underboss played (in my mind) by Christopher Walken. There’s a whole joke about how he didn’t know The Butcher’s name, so he just wrote him down as The Butcher, but the way he talks, it sounded Really Important instead of the guy’s literal job. Heheh. Which is why the detective was so flummoxed by seeing British Jewish Opie on steroids.
