Traumatmntober day 8: sunset! another Iteration of mine not on here! This is Donnie teaching Lita how to lasso as she’s freshly mutated and getting the hang of all this stuff like walking on two legs. This one is titled TMCT aka teenage mutant cowboy turtles and you guessed it! They’re all cowboys YEEHAW!

Donnie will sit to listen for a moment, a bit overwhelmed by the crowds of turtles, so he'll be quiet as he recharges, but once he's rested, he'll start asking a bunch of questions, haha

here have a 2012 tmnt cryptic au before i go to bed

the turtes got split up from splinter somehow just after their mutation and end up in some river

unlike most turtles they stick together and grow up together

so as they get bigger they became easier to spot so they became a sort of folklore to that area after a couple of people spot them

they're very cautious of human (potentially due to some past interactions)

obliviously they wouldn't know how to use ninjutsu or their weapons because splinters not around to teach them (and couldn't)

they look slightly off putting as in, their arms, legs and necks look lil too long for their bodies

they also have webbed hands and feet, and their second eyelids are on almost all the time constantly

they use their long claws and sharp teeth for any self defense and hunting

speaking of hunting they mostly eat whatever they can get their hands on, Crustaceans, fish, maybe some plants

they also have never had human food before

or that was until they met April

THE DEBUT!!!

woo, since i impulsively submitted my three month project into a comp (again thank you @tmnt-iteration-compeition), i may as well introduce the boys to y'all (also queue-ing this before i go to bed, so we'll see the quality in the morning). tldr:

donnie (17) is an epf scientist and hitman raph (16) is a purple dragon guard-dog mikey (15)– is a mutanimal runaway? and leo (14) is a born and raised foot-clan soldier

more info (as well as propaganda) will come out soon, but feel free to ask any questions !! these guys have brainrotted me so badly throughout 2024 please help– (oh and ref pic + random rec down below)

the cover design is directly based on the album American Dreamer by the Chinese punk band Brain Failure!

a lot of the original vibes for this concept was inspired by their song 8899, so i'd recommend you all to give it a listen ^^ (and warning: the iteration is so heavily music and film-based lmao).
