I totally forgot to mention that the hamlet that the whole "pilgrim" moment from England kind of started in was called Scrooby. This is according to my APUSH textbook, so clearly it is important and true information. The prime who came over on the Mayflower include some Scrooby people. They were Separatist Protestants and wanted some religious freedom so they were like "yo. let's go to the new world bro"
