Abilities:

They can double jump than by using propulsive technology in their tail.

They can read, write, and understand complex data, including the information stored in data pearls.

They have an orange satchel for holding pearls and other important items.

They have an Overseer companion named whiskers they use it as a flashlight.

They use scientific knowledge and creative problem solving to get out of sticky situations

Lore:

The Researcher was created by an Iterator named Dreams of Sky (DoS) for companionship and to help in lab work.

One cycle an experiment conducted by DoS goes wrong, resulting in the Iterator getting the rot

Driven to save their creator, the Researcher decides to take a dangerous journey far away from their home facility to the collapsed body of Five Pebbles. Their goal is to study the Rot and the local data pearls to find a cure.

The Researcher discovers that a biological cure is impossible because of the way the Rot and the cycle work. At first this is crushing, but then they realize that them and DOS can ascend together. So they work with DoS, they design and construct a device within DoS's chamber that allows DoS to bypass the ascension taboo and they ascend together.
