So having read a couple of interviews with Anthony Rapp where he’s expressed his appreciation for DS9 (saying that Disco and DS9 ‘share DNA’, pointing out that the O’Brians had some good ‘married moments’ not so different from the toothbrush scene), I’m thinking this might have been an acting choice :)

but shroomdoc is so, so silly and also just based on such few episodes. maybe her likes other things even more than mushrooms? i'm so so sorry! but a more lasting ship name seems more reasonable to me? aynthing with husbands since kirk and spock all started it back then maybe. science perhaps. or gee even pyjama.

It is indeed silly. I’m not really against silly.

It seems like Sculber will get the most votes. I’m not particularly fond of that one, since it’s just Culber with an S in front of it… but I will bend to the will of the fandom.
