Old vers under the cut
Hey y'all.
We're moving on and going to the next season, so I've got another update.
The horns have gotten longer, so they're peeking out from my hair at this point. I kinda like them because they look silly and remind me of Ender but they are GETTING IN THE WAY of any hats or headbands I wear, so I've had to resort to some cheap claw clips to keep my hair out of my eyes, at least until I can cut it again.
More freckles are turning turquoise, I guess.
I've found, despite caves being the Warden's natural habitat, that I have been growing more and more irritated at cold and dark. Maybe it's a response to the changes and all that jazz, but I've just been avoiding enclosed spaces and cold weather more now than ever.
Hope everyone's doing okay with the move! I'll try to keep more active from now on.
[the sculk grows fast, and doesn't let go easy]
He's a ten, but he's got sculk trauma regarding a world extinction event and is now possessed by sculk, as well as having communication errors and won't take care of himself, but he also gets you nice pens that won't bleed and can change color.
@enderwoah get rekt
bbbbrrreaking news
We have some updates!
if you get smacked with any cure for the sculk after a certain amount of time you can and will lose your arms/legs/anything-that-is-too-far-gone!
Hate wins is not just true for supernatural! We have a hate wins with some of our lil researchers so thats fun!
Anti-fungal infection soap/cream might actually work on sculk at least a lil bit! Eat lots of garlic bread as a way to combat it without all those Nasty Chemicals(/j pls use proper medication ;-;)!
Alternate universes where Nothing Goes Wrong and No One Dies are your friends! (cough cough @enderwoah cough cough @avidenthusiastoftomfoolery)
Step one of combating a sculk infection is DON'T GET INFECTED. wear gloves when handling. get a gas mask or something to avoid the spores. wash hands and don't touch your face after handling it. please for the love of god don't eat it.
Anyways have a nice sunday evening!
Woo, y'all, it's been a while!
We've been very busy at the lab recently, with surprise additions to the family and a prank war (If anyone can find the Wiimotes after the Great Game Prank of July, we will Pay You /hj), but we've still been keeping up research!
I've recently had a theory on sculk activity—another one—that it would target fast-growing and dying cells within one's body very early on, so if someone were to get infected, beyond the infection site, the sculk would quickly take over hair, fingernails, etc. Since it grows off of death, wouldn't cells rapidly dying be the perfect "food" for it?
Still need to run this by the rest of the lab, but it's interesting to me.
Hopefully, there won't be as much going on between now and the next post. Have a great week everyone!
he's a ten, but he stives so much for a flawed view of perfection that he unethically experiments on people and then messes with one of those people's new family, then DIES for 2 hours, in which he lives for like a thousand years getting tortured and comes back and then learns to be a better person while simultaneously understanding the absolute hell he put one little family through
He's a ten but he's so self sacrificing and sweet that he won't say when something is wrong even to his BOYFRIEND who is RAISING A CHILD WITH HIM and will put aside his own discomfort to accommodate everyone else, as well as (multiple times) disappearing for months on end with little communication (even though at least twice it was not his decision to go missing), but he can cook.
@avidenthusiastoftomfoolery the other one
