#sculpting process

I'm sculpting with CosClay Doll clay, Faerie Light: The head and left hair has been baked. Plastic wrap over the body because it hasn't. There's a wire base packed with tin foil and then clay on top of that. Parchment non-stick paper is down. Tools are just basic sculpting/clay tools from different sets, a razor, a safety pin, a pair of scissors, some modeling wire, wire cutters. I started this about a month ago. I have my crappy $15 webcam holding onto my desk lamp for dear life to record this. I haven't been posting much art because I've just been doing traditional things and touching grass lately. I'm also in between jobs at the moment so things have been a bit hectic with interviews and whatnot. Traditional sculpting time-lapse for this one. Music is listed in the video description, as usual. Ngl it's a pretty random selection this time. I've only had one night off the past 2 weeks and I only had enough time in that night to finish putting together the video so I honestly just selected whatever this time around in terms of music. Process is still there though for anyone interested.

Beetles WIP

My tiny beetles are finished! The only thing left to do now is finishing the boxes and putting them inside. The legs are sculpted with black Fimo and the rest is sculpted with white Sculpey III.
