Lucario - Air Dry Clay

Howdy there!

Testing the waters for maybe selling at a local fair. Starting strong with one of my favorite team members from my old Pokemon White 2 team: Lucario.

Pretty happy with the results, especially the feet. The tail, though... let's just say Lucario anatomy is weirder than I remembered and leave it at that.

Little timeline of my learning curve. On to the next one, and feel the flow!

Materials: Air dry clay, air dry paint, acrylic paint, wires, wood, and plastic.

Size: 15 cm tall, approximately 6.5 cm wide, 4 cm deep / 8 cm deep including the tail.

Ferox Chao (Sonic) - modelling clay

Hello! I'll admit work has distracted me, and haven't done another Kagurabachi figure. In the meanwhile, I worked on this figure as a little gift for the Sonic Chronicles Reimagined server.

Its a Ferox Chao, the luckiest Chao in Sonic Chronicles.

I had to improvised with what little references were available. The color of the wings come from issue 33 of IDW Sonic, drawn by Evan Stanley and colored by Reggie Graham.

Size comparison. He's bigger than your average Chao.

Hiyuki Kagari (Kagurabachi) - Air Dry Clay

"Rikuo, give me a hand."

"If we're gonna do this, then no more of this lukewarm crap."

Hello there! It has only been 7 days, but here is another figure from Kagurabachi: Hiyuki!  She was on my list, but I'll give a shout out to Reddit user Remarkable_Plum7026 for requesting it!

I'm still not used to making female characters, but I'm getting the hang of heels, and it was a worthy study. Hiyuki has an open mouth based on Chapter 20 to contrast with the previous figures, and Flame Bone was my biggest challenge. I had never colored fire before in my life, so it was intimidating!

"Don't give me orders! You'll be dead without me!"

My only regret with this figure (right now) is that she came out taller than the boys by a full centimeter, making her look like a giant woman next to Chihiro. I'm sure that sounds attractive to some folks, but it wasn't my intent.

Hakuri Sazanami (R) - Air Dry Clay

"I want to keep proving the value you saw in me."

I'm a bit late, but let's celebrate the announcement of the upcoming Kagurabachi anime! I was working on a remake of my old Hakuri Sazanami figure (gosh, the old one is ugly), and finished just a bit after the trailer came out.

I'll continue to improve. The new one is more anatomically correct, and the face isn't ugly. (Air-dry clay isn't like modeling clay...) I didn't bother making the mask for his eye this time.

"But this isn't a stab in the dark. Now, I got Hakuri."

I likewise changed the colors of his pants to reflect the current look. The white hair has a bit of blond too, but I don't think the photo quality shows it. Hakuri was blond before the sensei decided on giving him white hair ( To better contrast with Chihiro, I presume) but I can't help but remember Killua from Hunter x Hunter, another Shonen Jump kid from a famous clan.

Materials: Air-dry clay, wire, wood, a bit of aluminum, cold porcelain paint, acrylic paint, black fine-tip marker.

Dragon Knight D&D OC Commision - Air Clay

Howdy again! The last week has been an interesting event for me, for someone in my town commisioned me to make a figure for his D&D character! Honestly it's my first ever commision ever when it comes to clay scultures!

It was a learning experience, because the figure had its flaws. I hope I can keep on learning!

I won't lie, though, I will really miss this guy. I'm not really used to saying good bye to my creations. Heck, I struggle to even mercifully kill the old ones I remake figures I do.

Materials: Air-Dry Clay, Cold dry Paint, Acrylic Paint, wire, alluminium, wood.

Servbot (R) - Modelling clay, and air clay

Howdy! I've been feeling a bit bored, so last month I decided to remake an old figure of mine of Servbot from the Mega Man Legends series. I made two: one in air-dry clay, and one in modeling clay. The one in air-dry clay came out fine, but the one in modeling clay gave me some trouble.

Mega Man Volnutt wasn't available for the photo, so X is here to replace him for now.

Modeling Clay Servbot: Size: 7 cm tall, 3 cm wide, 2 cm deep

Air-Dry Clay Servbot: Size: 6 cm tall, 3 cm wide, 1.5 cm deep

The Roaring Knight appeared- Air clay

I managed to make a floating figure. I'm unsure if I should feel proud or not.

A dark, yet darker figure, a first for me. It was very interesting to make. What do you think?

It isn't alone. It has a friend.

Penguin Soldier and Penguin Knight (sort of) - modelling clay

Here is my last figure(s) of February, posted on the first day of March: Penguin Soldier, a classic Yugioh card. Done in modelling clay.

As I mentioned before, the first figure didn’t turn out the way I wanted. After finishing the second one, I realized the issue: the pose. The artwork shows the character either running or getting ready to run. Also, the miscolored card confused me and led me to use the wrong color palette. As a result, he ended up looking like another card: Penguin Knight.

So I ended up making the second figure in the pose of Penguin Knight. I’m happy with how it turned out, but I couldn’t just leave the first one behind, so now he’s together with his sibling.

Materials used: Modeling clay, air-dry clay, wood, aluminum foil, air-dry paint, acrylic paint, and resin.

"HEY EVERY !!", Spamton - Air Clay

Originally I was going to post a Yugioh classic monster, but it didn't come to my liking, so I'm posting another figure I was working on: Ev3ry Buddy 's Favorite [[Number 1 Rated Salesman1997]], Spamton G. Spamton!

Originally I made him in modelling clay, but he came out too [[BIG]], so I made another figure in air clay in a smaller size, which came better to my liking. My mother thought he was some weird deformed woodpecker.

Design based on his original sprite. My interpretation ain't much different than other fans', I personally enjoy their shoes. Wanna give a shout out to [ActualDavis] and [2 Cool 4 School] animations of Spamton, giving me some inspiration.

Toon Alligator - modelling clay

I've been feeling very inspired, so I've been making many figures. This one is finished, so I can post it: Toon Alligator. One of the toon monsters from Pegasus's deck who, weirdly enough, is not a Toon type.

Done with modelling clay. He's one of the very few cards I still have since I was a kid.

I'm very proud of how it came out! He's my little underrated bugger. Here is a size comparison with my little hedgehog OC.

They are around 5 cm tall. Toon Alligator was done the same day as another classic Yugioh card figurine, so I'll post it later. Have a great day!
