“She steps forth from stone, bearing not just water—but mercy.”
Not Aphrodite, not Madonna.
She is the quiet current beneath both.
Her flesh is carved with the patience of centuries,
yet her gaze spills with the sorrow of all things impermanent.
She offers no answers, only a gesture—
open palms, like a spring in drought,
like甘露—heaven’s grace falling softly
onto the cracked skin of a world still learning how to pray.
From the silence of the chisel,
a woman emerges, not as muse but as miracle.
Still, and yet flowing.
