Man, he needed to listen to Amy's advice more often. This whole vacation stuff was actually pretty cool!
It was a personal day at Emerald Coast... a bite-sized beach trip! Unlike his bluer, more spiky counterpart, the kit was rather fond of splashing about in the water. It was a simple joy, paddling to and fro, slapping on some goggles to view the aquatic lands below. And, of course, getting some surfing in! The aforementioned blue hedgehog enjoyed his snowboarding and city surfing, sure, but the towering tides were where the yellow fox shined!
Deep in the folds of those oceanic waves, one would find the fox, fur soaked to the bone, as some practice and refresher courses were conducted. He needed to get his game face on... there was a surfing tournament happening in a little bit! It was nothing overly professional, you wouldn't catch folks like the Babylon Rogues trying their socks off here. But that didn't mean it was amateur hour either. There was some real skill in these waters!
...And, more importantly, the grand prize winner would be walking away with a two-week 80% discount at the boardwalk's finest ice cream stall, 2P's Ice Cream! Anyone who's anybody would kill for something like that; the winner would practically be eating for free! Gaia below, a mind was swimming with the thought of it all as a body threw itself from the water.
Only about a half hour before things started, now. He'd take a small break before getting back to the swing of things and—
"—Oh, you have got to be kidding me...
"Scourge the Hedgehog..." Said with all the gravitas of sand in your shorts. Irritation. Annoyance. Did he kill a guy in his past life or something? Or did some cosmic force on high just really have it out for him? "Sonic's not here, if that's what you're poking around for. It's just me. And I'm practicing for the surfing tournament right now, so I'm a little busy."
It was invisible to the naked eye, but the kid was currently trying to see if he was psychic. Perhaps if he tried to stare at Scourge and mentally blast him with thoughts that screamed 'GO AWAY, GO AWAY, GO AWAY', he'd maybe, just maybe, go away.
