He blesses me with B.

Frustrated, confused and sad at how tomorrow's events are supposed to pan-out. I asked B to pray for me tonight. And just now, over our phone call, he prayed for me. Without hesitation he said "I'm praying for it right now. You ready?" Here's what has me so flustered about tomorrow: Teaching Sunday School for my youths (at my church in central SD). 9am-Noon A California wedding reception for an old friend of mine (in Escondido). 1:30-5:30pm A baptism for one of my junior high girls (@ Mission Bay). 2/3pm A funeral/Memorial service for one of my best friends dad (downtown SD). 4pm A Sherlock meet up with other fans (Seaport Village–downtown SD). 5pm And church in Escondido at 7pm. Not only do I not know how I'm going to physically do this, but emotionally. The funeral definitely has me reeling. I'm one of those "I cry everything in movies" kind of girls. The loss of someone that I actually knew is really hard. Yes, I believe that he was saved and I shouldn't be sad. It's just the sadness of the whole family that breaks my heart. I don't like seeing others in pain. We lost one. He gained him. Kingdom minded, right? Right. No more crocodile tears, Shawna.

So here we are again!

The San Diego Sherlockians present SDCCLOCKED

Once more we’re going to be meeting up just outside the convention center, right beside the Children’s Park at 5pm . This is just the initial meet up spot, afterwards we will be moving.

We’ll wait around until 5:30 before taking a short walk to the gorgeous Sea Port Village and settling at our favorite spot, the carousel~

There we will all mingle, chat and just catch up or maybe even make some new Sherlockian friends!

There is going to be a little raffle where you’ll have a chance to win an assortment of little gifts we’ve put together so good luck!

Lastly, for our dear cosplayers, we’ll be taking group photos, and general singles photos that will all be uploaded on both our FB page and Tumblr!

NO COMIC CON PASS NEEDED. This is open to everyone so just come on over!

San Diego Sherlockians is back at this URL!

With all the wonderful things we're hoping for for this year's SDCClocked, we wanted to once again separate the SDCC-locked and San Diego Sherlockians blogs. This is so non-San Diegan SDCC-goers don't get inundated with non-SDCC San Diego meet-up info, and non-SDCClocked-goers don't get bombarded with SDCClocked stuff.

So, for all your non-SDCClocked San Diego Sherlockian meet-up needs, this is the blog to follow! Thanks for understanding! :)

UPDATE : SDCCLocked 2014

Well that time of the year has rolled around where we need to start preparing for convention season.

Reminder that SDCCLocked does not require you to have a Comic Con badge. This year it's going to be a little different. Once the schedule is released we'll figure out what day our annual fan-meetup will take place as well as the details for that lovely event.

SherlockeDCC (that awesome party put together by the Baker St Babes, Cara Mcgee, Nerdy Girly, ect..) is in the planning stages right now and very likely to occur again. So we're going to keep an eye on that as well to make sure we don't have a scheduling clash.

Lastly, we're going to be looking at another event to do during the Comic Con weekend, and that is a tea party. The details are still being worked out however it will be a paid event. More information on that will be released the closer we get to awesome convention we all love.
