You know what, today I sleep a very happy person. I feel energized and inspired. I don't know how many remember the training we had at Kariene in Meru organized by Kariene Social Economic Front in partnership with @mshauri_trust_foundation and @robogals_nairobi_chapter on 27th April this year. So, today I happened to call Jackson, the person who was behind this mentorship for some help I wanted from him. But know what, the tone and mood to an excitement. The kind of impression he had diverted my agenda. "Halo Royford, we're really proud of the work you did. One of the students from a Kariene Primary School alipata 395 from 342 the previous year. " He paused."Hata unakumbuka shule mlilala, we had some of those students during the mentorship and one of them ako top 10 nationally. " Okay, when I authenticated about the top 10 nationally, he's actually number 11, nationally and the best in Meru County, Mworia Koome Roy from St. Anne Day and Boarding Kariene. This journey was not easy. We had constant trainings to equip our mentors with necessary, adequate and effective skills on how to engage mentees. I'm looking forward to generation of #TransformativeLeadership. Thank you so much to everyone who made us achieve this goal.
