Hey space crew, good to see you!

I just had to do something with 32ki+Caststation’s newest video Mesmerizer! (FLASH WARNING)

That video is very stimulating, and it was so fun to go back and find the secrets hidden in plain sight for the viewer on Teto’s pleads to be saved.

So I made my own little Jack and Artie version! There are small secrets in the image, can you see them?

It’s a lot of colors, but I really wanted to capture the video’s ending sequence with all of the confetti and overall vibrancy.

While not canon to their story, I still think this could line up to Jack’s world being some sort of false reality that he doesn’t want to live in.

Or maybe someone is threatening him to keep up this vibrant act?

Hey space crew! Thanks for opening the captain’s log. ★

Man, it’s been a while since a post, yeah? I hit that classic burnout stage. Got lost in the universe burnout for a long while and couldn’t draw much for months. I am alright, but what a crash >>.

This drawing was started on 1/21 and was supposed to come out for my birthday (1/23). I turned 22! Finally big big goober age and still very silly! ☆ But uh, I missed that deadline, haha. I spent a good extra 2 months on it by accident. Working on and off over the course of multiple days, working in general, wehhhhhhah.

Told myself to get it done by Artie’s birthday (3/9) too, and then well, missed that too! Sheeeesh. But it’s done now and I quite enjoy the outcome for what it’s worth. I hope you all do too!

Artie’s hair took so long to shade… I want to shave them bald. Jk. Partially…

This “episode” focuses on well, a laser tag party! Jack isn’t the type to be extra competitive usually, but he was over the sun excited to be on the same team as Artemis. The two had a game plan: blue team will reign supreme! Watch my back! <3

Except for when the game started, Jack’s vest lit up in the enemies color. Accidental traitor. Maybe he could ask the referees to pause the game so he could swap— oh! Artie just zapped him and ran off.

Suddenly, Jack is extremely good at this game.

Drawing them as songs from their playlist pt. 2, except I got very carried away and messily shaded this thing! Haha.

Giving Jack a space suit was a bit trickier to design than I thought. I wanted to keep all of his signature colors and theme. The swirls are so pretty and simple, yet somehow in my mind I feel like he’s over designed in compared to Artie. Ah… 😭

In this “episode”, I believe it would focus more on the middle of the season where Jack is understanding his feelings towards his friend. It’s hitting him like a rocket that just launched off the pad and well— it feels nice! It feels nice to finally come to a realization sometimes.

…too bad he has a date the next day though, and it’s not with them. I think he forgot about that! That’s complicated, no?

But that’s for the next episode.

Hi! Good to see you below the chop. This is where the cool kids are.

Welcome to Stari explains star’s doodles. I love romance tropes in media, and I’m a sucker for pining! There’s something about the moments before confessions that warm my heart and make way for some tasty developments.

It’s like watching two colors mix and muddle and swirl until it finally begins to form a solid new hue from the paint of the universe.

Or something like that, I could write pages upon pages with the amount of things that the stage makes me feel, but I’m not here to type to the void about that! I’m here to bring it back to the story of this doodle. Ofc this is going off of SunnyTimeTown(AU)+Sunnyverse(My Story) lore.

For this particular scene Jack is of course on the telephone with Artemis, as this is something that he does very frequently/almost every night since they moved back to Cloudy Town. Operator, get me love on the line, haha…but seriously. They usually talk about everything and anything, but on that night it’s time they chatted about dating.

Jack’s no stranger to the dating scene. In fact, his failures of some dates ends up being the talk of the night many times. Sometimes it’s comedic or sometimes it’s moral support, but tonight it’s a bit different. Jack’s a little over the moon and head over heels in love crushing on a date that went pretty stellar, and for some reason Artie is not too excited about it as they thought they would be.

They normally don’t mind anything he has to say, but suddenly this brings a distaste to them that they can’t explain. She’s so perfect? How perfect is she if you just met her? Suddenly he’s speaking the words they don’t care to hear for the first time and they’re pulling the cords of the phone without noticing it.

Artemis, are you jealous of something?

Starting off with the first one, I have this headcanon that Jack plays songs for Artemis (any pronouns/preferably they/them) that he needs to practice on or are still in the works.

This one features the use of his signature the Sleepytime Serenade (which I totally spelled correctly), which ultimately makes them fall asleep on his side.

And yes, he’s singing Drift Away, I love the Omnichord cover. :)

Laundry Day!

Sharing an apartment means you go through twice as many towels. Sounds like someone should be at fault here!

Or rather, he’s about to be!

Maybe one of these days he won’t forget the most important day of the week.

Failing at Life (But together, so it can’t be all that bad!)

Artemis, the astronaut that can’t get off the ground.

Jack, the musician that can’t get his notes in the air.

Honestly, failing at your dreams can hurt even if you haven’t given up. It’s okay to cry sometimes, but it’s not okay to cry alone. Life is a comedy, laugh at it and if it doesn’t make sense, then make it make sense.
