Janis Joplin had such a unique voice and would put so much feelings when she sang!!
Janis Joplin played her final live concert on August 12, 1970. She performed with the Full Tilt Boogie Band at Harvard Stadium in Allston, Massachusetts, before an estimated crowd of 40,000 fans.

Piece of My Heart by Big Brother and The Holding Company debuted Aug 68 and peaked at number 12.
The group formed in San Francisco with Janis Joplin and had two more chart entries in 1968, but they failed to crack the top 40.
Erma Franklin's 1967 original peaked at number ten on the r&b chart. Most recently it was sung by Tiffany Hadish at a wedding in Here Today (2021).
