I’m so excited to share #Vietgone with this theatre community. A recent study came out showed that only 4% of all roles in New York featured Asian Americans- and that number is significantly lower now that Miss Saigon and The King & I have closed. It’s so important to me that this Asian American voice is being produced with a cast of all Asian Americans. I’ve never been in a production of all Asian Americans and it has been an incredible experience so far. Everyone on stage and behind the scenes is working so hard to make this piece come together. I am so thankful to have been given the chance to take part.
