I'm trying out some new art supplies, water-soluble pencils and pans from the Derwent Inktense line. I decided to use one of my sand dollar photos, from a trip to Birch Bay (2022), as a reference.

"Low Tide"

8x10 inch artwork, created with watercolor paint / pencils.

This is the other piece I had considered making when I made my first sand dollars drawing, in 2022. I finally got around to it. Here are some details for "Low Tide."

I’m going to be painting this on a jacket eventually, but I wanted to test out the colors and such before then. Plus it might be a neat print later on!

Sunrise Shell
