@gillmanbarracks is rife with life! Were you at Singapore Art Week and Art After Dark last Friday too? A highlight was meeting young Singaporean artist Alvin Ong at @yavuzgallery. Alvin’s exhibition Supper Club was noteworthy for both his distinctive style, as well as an interesting sense of dark humour. I also caught “Adaptations”, a group exhibition curated by independent art space @supernormal.space, featuring more than 10 Singapore-based artists who worked with technology to present innovative contemporary art installations.
