some of my favourite things from the Toronto production of Dear Evan Hansen

-Robert Markus’s voice and FALSETTO!!!! i actually can’t believe how fucking fantastic his voice is

-I don’t remember if this is just part of the blocking or if this was Sean Patrick Dolan’s choice but when Connor grabs Evan’s arm to sign his cast and Evan goes “ow”, Sean lifted his hands like he didn’t mean to hurt Evan and wanted to be gentle

-Also when Connor says you wrote this because you knew I’d find it so I’d freak out and you can tell everyone how crazy I am, and Sean was like screaming this and sounded so upset like so sad and scared and I was like oh wow

-When Evan sings “you looked really pretty - uhhh it looked pretty cool”, Robert and the band do the best thing ever which is the band cuts out for a second and Robert just goes “uhhhhhh” in a monotone and it’s awesome. Also after Zoe goes “he did??” Robert says “yup!!” 

-Jessica Sherman goes higher on “space I couldnnnnn’ttt fill”

-ALESSANDRO CONSTANTINI he is THE BEST he is SO GOOD I love Jared so much more as a character because of him
