I remember years ago, an old (now ex) love of mine told me my voice was 'too clean, not enough grit', and TRIED to make me feel like there were so many other singers out there that did it better. 😒 Instead of listening to that person, I dropped that ex, and sang my song anyway. 😌✊🏽 Cain't nobody -not nobody- ever tell me that I don't have the best #Rajdulari sound, cuz it's mine. 🎶😌 It's a beautiful thing when you stop listening to what critics say, and start embracing the uniqueness that makes YOU beautiful. I hope you do the same, Loved Ones, and continue to grind hard for your dreams, and tell your story, in your own voice. And don't ever let anybody try and steal your joy. I'm glad I didn't, because I wouldn't be on the beautiful journey that I'm on today. 💞 This is a new song of mine, called '17' that I wrote about being a young girl on her own, making her own way in the world. Many thanks to @brittanyevanwilliams for capturing this, and for #SeanMcGowan for playing so beautifully. 🎸 Will share more clips from last night later, Loved Ones! Have an awesome day, and do something that celebrates YOU today. 🤗💞🎶 @thetoadtavern #RajdulariMusic #SangSomethin #NotYoMamasJazzSinger #GigLife #Growth #17 (at The Toad Tavern)
