OH WAIT and you’ve played Okami, I’m not sure if that counts??? I’m not even sure what Ammy would be considered, but she’s considered the sun goddess, Issun refers to Ammy as ‘she/her’ and then you have everyone saying that Ammy is ‘mother to us all’

yeah ammy is definitely female cause she is the sun goddess but...when you play as a animal unless it's anthro shit theres nothing really gendered about it?? like yeah they have them but they're not socially important. she may be a goddess but shes a goddess thats a wolf so you literally never have to register her as female except when using pronouns to describe her really
