Tbh I wish Tumblr communities had a search button. It would make finding everything I've posted in a community less of a pain.

Every few weeks tumblr decides to make us go on a wild goose chase for the fucking search button and I’m getting tired

tumblr markets itself as “we arent like THOSE social media apps” while replacing the users profile with their own shop. it just feels like tumblr is loosing itself to be more like every other social media platform. which is the exact opposite of what tumblr stood for.

its really sad seeing a platform that prioritized their users, turn into Instagram. It started with the search button and now “Tumblr Market”.

I wouldnt mind these additions if they just,,, didnt have to change and move everything, inconveniencing everyone of their users.

also why am i getting ads, trying to see MY OWN BLOG.

Dear Tumblr,

Can you please change back the search icon on the app to the second on the bottom again and the live icon to the upper right? I’m so used to how it was that muscle memory keeps now pressing the live icon thinking it’s still search. It’s so difficult to break that habit. Why the change in location? It was fine where it was at originally.

It would be highly appreciated if changed back please!
