tumblr markets itself as “we arent like THOSE social media apps” while replacing the users profile with their own shop. it just feels like tumblr is loosing itself to be more like every other social media platform. which is the exact opposite of what tumblr stood for.
its really sad seeing a platform that prioritized their users, turn into Instagram. It started with the search button and now “Tumblr Market”.
I wouldnt mind these additions if they just,,, didnt have to change and move everything, inconveniencing everyone of their users.
also why am i getting ads, trying to see MY OWN BLOG.

Effective next month, August 5, changes for the rewards and new additions will happen according to the following:
A new reward option, "egg tarts", will be added. The reward includes all the features of the present and upcoming "bakers" patrons. The price will be 10$.
The "bakers" reward option will be downgraded to include only nsfw access and psd/sai files. The patron can request access at any time these files for any of the works posted in Patreon, unless the requester ("egg tarts" patrons) of the work says otherwise. The price will drop from 8$ to 5$.
* All present "bakers" patrons this month will be upgraded to "egg tarts" patrons.
The sketches provided for the new "egg tarts" reward position will include, by default, shaded non-colored sketches instead of thatching, unless the requester specifies otherwise.
The "flour and eggs" reward option will remain the same.
