Different Types of migration

We investigated what migration is, and we searched different types of migration. These are seven types of situations where people/animals migrate. We added our own definitions to it and did some research on it. Animal migration: When for example birds leave their place in winter and go to a hot climate. animal migration happens since earth existed Seasonal migration: sometimes people leave during specific seasons and then go back when the season is over just like animal migration Since the 2000 it started to become more and more popular. Long and short term migration: Long term when you stay for more then a year and short just for two weeks like a vacation. Vacations or when you move to another country to live there. Return migration: When you have migrated and go back to were you once lived. Sometimes happens when the war is over in your former country. Rural-urban: when people move from the rural to urban countries to search for chances and better jobs. after the second world war people started to search for countries where they can find better jobs and earn more money. Impelled migration: when people are not forced to go but have to leave because of the conditions like hunger or war. Is a common thing in the world sometimes in some places there is almost no precipitation so people move for a certain time. Forced migration: When people have to leave the country because the government have to send them away. happens in countries were there are a lot of immigrants also happens in the Netherlands.
