This Candy Coated Sea Spray Chicken combines the savory flavors of soy sauce, honey, and ginger with a hint of sweetness and saltiness from the crushed Candy Coated Sea Spray, resulting in a delightful dish that is perfect for grilling.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1/4 cup Candy Coated Sea Spray crushed. Sesame seeds, for garnish. Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish.
Instructions: To make the sauce, put soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil in a bowl and mix them together. Put the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again, and pour the marinade over them. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours with the lid or seal on top. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the extra marinade. Grill the chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until it's fully cooked. Baste it every so often with the marinade you saved. Give the chicken one last two minutes on the grill and then sprinkle crushed Candy Coated Sea Spray on top. Let it melt a bit. Take the chicken off the grill and give it a minute or two to rest. Before serving, top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
