to those of you who may continue to protest:

the police will be kettling all of us again tonight I’m sure. this involves condensing us into a confined area, corralling everyone. you can google kettling to see what it looks like.

if you have short sleeves or shorts on, please bring a sleeved jacket/coat/shirt and long socks. your skin will burn with the tear gas &/or mace. even if you think you can take it, please consider that helping yourself means you’ll be able to help others.

bring water. when people offer the extra water, take at least one, even if you are not thirsty. it is for your eyes, your nose, your mouth.

if you get hit with tear gas you may vomit. you will definitely have huge globules of snot caught in your nose and throat. prepare yourself mentally for this. if you are unable to open your eyes, do not sprint full-tilt you will hurt yourself and others. yell as clearly as you can that you cannot see and ask for help while walking as fast as you can.

i don’t know if anyone who needs this will see it, but i hope they do. I urge you to look at what to bring, search the effects of tear gas, mace, rubber bullets, and flashbangs. be prepared.
