Johnnycake Hill -- The Lobbyists
I found an amazing new band to listen to while I read and write. They are The Lobbyists and this is one of my favorite songs by them.
A few months ago I asked for your suggestions on what to listen to while I write, so I thought it was only fair to share one of my own new favorites. Enjoy!

International Backpacking: Essential Items
With the devaluation of U.S. dollar, foreign travel is becoming a very expensive adventure. The hotels are expensive, the exchange rates are hard, and the value of the dollar is weak. Travelling in a country is the cheapest route to go, and often the most interesting. Allowing you to see the world from a more intimate, earthy, backpack has many benefits. Besides the benefits, there is a downside, and for some, is a big one. Backpacking is what the name describes - traveling with a backpack in the rear, and all their possessions in it. This makes a careful examination of what needs to be taken very important, as the packaging of useless items results in a slow, travel less pleasant. There are certain elements that should always be taken, and some that may be needed depending on the person. The first step is to take into account his backpack. Is it a small to travel light, normal, or one large? Essential for all travelers: - First aid gel shoe inserts kits (you will be doing a lot of walking) - hot ice-cream joint and four shirts, four pairs of pants or shorts, depending on the weather. - rubber bands (good for hair, clothes, etc) - razor-brush use of body soap small mirror travel alarm clock, extra batteries, flash-light notebook, pens, hair Ziplocs leaves ( keeps things fresh) - Flip-flops, Crocs, or ventilation, waterproof shoes, toothbrush and a blanket of solar protective umbrella, small toothpaste, small, as given in the aircraft-knife / fork / spoon cream medicine pain-combined anti-fungal, throat spray, bismuth, laxatives hand sanitizer and wipes box water bottle water for documents, electronics and other glass replacement if needed earplugs (hostels are strong forest animals have loud, noisy cities have cars, etc.) For normal packages: - Calculator - packages MP3 Players, GPS, digital cameras, SD-pda-phoneFor head lamp large cell: - polar small-portable sleeping bag (the EeePC is very advisable in this case) - Emergency video camera pocket radio bookThese elements are essential for anyone who is considering the possibility of backpacking. It is important to find the fine line between what is needed and what is not. Too much in one package can make the trip uncomfortable. However, not having the items you need not only be a distraction, but dangerous. Choose the smallest package you can, and put in it only what is needed.
