first dates ♠ cora and sebastian
In all her life, Cora could consider this to be the first day she's ever went on. She was only eleven when the house burnt down and that wasn't an age to have a boy-friend or go out on dates. She lived a nice childhood with her mom and pack, so when the fire happened-- Cora ran. She couldn't risk focusing on relationships, or being happy. Instead, she wanted to remain safe and keep herself alive. Her life had been a mess mostly; she'd been having nightmares, moving from pack to pack and not being stable. She wanted to be but she knew she couldn't. She was alone those entire years without having anyone to rely on. So, when she heard of Derek-- Cora took the chance and went back. Everything she's went through since then was nothing now that she had Derek back. She's grateful for him and maybe that's partly why she doesn't want him to just have someone else. Selfish as it sounds, she liked being his little sister. She liked being spoiled and put first-- it's something she hadn't had for awhile and once she had it; she couldn't let go. Maybe it's because of the fire, or the years being alone but it sure had been getting to her lately, especially with Cass now being back. Her brother, her best-friend and now hopefully, Sebastian. Cora may have felt something towards Isaac but Sebastian - he was different to her. He challenged her and it took her awhile to admit how she felt but she eventually did. She knew she shouldn't seem excited because she was Cora.
Looking through her closet, Cora managed to find a few things she found suitable. Her closet mostly consisted of combat boots, jeans and a few shirts. She wasn't much into dressing up but with Lydia around-- she managed to buy a few things suitable for a date. She found a simple yet nice dress that she got from the mall with Lydia and decided to go with it with a leather jacket on top. She let her hair fall over her shoulders and looked at herself in the mirror, hoping she looked nice enough. Gosh, it felt so weird but she did get dressed twice. Cora smiled to herself and walked out of her room looking around. "Derek? Cass?" She yelled out, arms crossed before realizing they were probably off somewhere. Shrugging lightly to herself, Cora took a seat turning on the television as she waited patiently.
