Rich is scared of him. And Seb can’t even bring himself to blame him if that’s true; he’s a dangerous man with a violent temper, and he’s injured Richard more than once, in all likelihood, without even meaning to. He’s brought it upon himself. But, even so, he doesn’t want him to be scared, and definitely doesn’t want Rich to stay with him just because he’s scared. That’s why you see Sebastian going out of his way to make sure that Rich is safe & comfortable. Because he’s scared himself, that that is what’s happening.

Richard’s grip was surprisingly tight for such a slight man, and Sebastian was impressed despite himself. The little fucker was bound to have left bruises, he thought as he grabbed Rich by the wrist and twisted. Hard. Almost pulling his shoulder out of it’s socket as he wrenched his arm behind his back and slammed him face first into the opposite wall.

“Did you want something, kid?” he growled, right in Richard’s ear, breathing heavily and having to resist a curious urge to sink his teeth into it. The other man’s neck was exposed and he couldn’t help but think how pretty that would look covered in bite marks too. “Because there are less painful ways to ask.”
