Secluded Lake | Landscape Painting | Easy for Beginners
One of my favorite memories, from ‘73 or ‘74, is a long backpacking hike into a secluded lake called Wassataquoik Lake. At the end of trail a canoe was made available to hikers and you canoed over to an island where there was a lean-to shelter. The water was clear but very cold as I discovered when I tried to take a swim.
