Today's 3D scene is based on a bream. The fish swims in its own world. There's a lake here. And several river branches lead to a pond. And there's an outlet to the river. Right now, the fish is in the pond. Which is already overgrown. And it's quiet here.
There are lots of branches on the bottom. Whole trees. Fallen into the water. And already overgrown with moss. Everything is green. It looks very beautiful. In general, exploring the underwater world is very interesting. Everything underwater can be very different.
There are huge branches here. Whole tree parts. The trees are different. There's apparently a lot of forest up there. A whole forest grows. And sometimes the wind blows and blows trees into the water. Or something else is happening. And here, underwater, it's quiet and calm. And everything is green.
The branches form entire labyrinths. It's interesting to swim between the branches. It's a whole mysterious labyrinth. A whole network of branches. You can even hide here. Although this is the bream's world. And there's no one else here. Somewhere further on, a new area has appeared. And there are a lot of branches there. It's impossible to swim there yet. But then the current will wash everything away. And it will be possible to swim there too. The bream is waiting for this moment.
Bream likes to swim in different places. In a large lake. The water there is bluer. And in a pond like this one, the water is greener. And it knows well how to swim from the central lake to the side ponds. And it knows where the lake turns towards the river.
The bream explores these places a lot. And it has already studied them well. Its home is in the lake. And it will be necessary to return there after swimming. And there to sleep and rest. Watch fish TV. Listen to fish music. And play on the fish computer. It has everything. And nevertheless, the fish is an explorer and has retained this habit of swimming everywhere and observing everything. The fish sometimes attaches a fish video camera and records its travels. For viewing at home. And for its fishing blog. On the fish internet.
Bream is a bit of a writer when he's not swimming. He writes stories. About fantastical aquatic worlds. Water comes in all shapes and sizes. Even here. There's an overgrown pond. A blue lake and a river current. Branches. Sand. Moss. Overgrown areas. Algae.
Where many branches have appeared. This is a new place. Its space is expanding. And this is already a new branch for the pond. Bream swims there every day. And watches the current and water clear a path. But there are still too many branches there. It can't swim any further.

A 3D scene for today based on the carp fish. And its underwater tree. Here lives a carp, growing an underwater tree. There's lots of sand here. And earth. And lots of fallen leaves. Anything can grow here! For example, a tree!
Here the carp grows a tree. A squirrel brought some seeds. And now a tree is growing here. And a duck brought the seeds to the carp. After all, the duck swims well and dives. But thanks to the squirrel! And the duck too! And now such an underwater miracle! A miracle tree! A tree that grows underwater!
The carp is a smart fish. And it swims everywhere here. Somewhere on the bottom are some glasses. The fish can read a lot. It's a skill fish. That's why the fish knows everything about the surface from books. And it can even communicate with surface dwellers. For this, it has a friend. Its friend is a duck. It swims and brings messages. And the carp fish relays them. That's how they communicate. So, the carp and the squirrel have become friends. There's a whole underwater library here. Lots of wood. Lots of vegetation growing there. You can read a book and eat some delicious seaweed. There are doors. Round ones. And lots of books there. The fish also lecture the other fish about the above-ground world. When they visit.
There's a lot to do here. When the current comes, the water can get murky too. You need to find shelter. There's a little house for that. But this underwater sandstorm quickly passes. It refreshes all the trees. And they grow better.
The fish swim here. At a good depth. We should make a whole garden of underwater trees. For fun. The fish think. And invite the duck to show us. In the meantime, it's fun to swim. And see what's down there. Sometimes lots of leaves appear. Such yellow ones. It's a beautiful sight. The leaves slowly sink to the bottom.
And the fish draw with them. There's a pond further on. Trees grow above the pond. And there are times when the entire bottom is constantly covered in leaves. That's where the fish draw. And so he swims. And visits his friends. The fish has many other fish friends. They all have a good time. There's a fish with a Dendy 8-bit game console. Now the carp has one too. And a game about a fish. Now the carp is swimming around a tree. And watching it grow.

The chub lives in a very interesting and beautiful place. It's either a pond or an entire ocean. Something of both at the same time. There's plenty of space here. And a whole underwater landscape. Everything is overgrown with green algae. More than edible. And extremely tasty. It's worth traveling – tastes are different everywhere. And it's always delicious. There are drop-offs into the water here.
And entire pillars rising up. It's all dry land. And underwater. And it's striving upward. That's the uniqueness of the landscape. The landscape here is beautiful. And most importantly, all this beauty is underwater. The chub swims a lot here. It really enjoys exploring everything here. Especially since it has never reached the edge. It's simply an ocean here. But it's like a pond. For the chub. Its personal world. And the fish has a personal computer. And not just one. Everything is right under the water.
The fish swims up and communicates online with other fish. Plays games. Programming. Trying out new software. And there are already a lot of computers. Chub even made a map of which computer is which. It's quiet here, and no one distracts you. Be it a game or software, or a programming task. It's nice underwater!
You can go down into these chasms. It's darker there. And even cooler. But not by much. You can make a place for yourself there. Store Dendy cartridges there, for example. And in another chasm, build a collection of MS-DOS games on disks and floppy disks. The water is excellent; it's a great swimmer.
There's even underwater tea growing in this place. You have to pick it and drink the tea. All sorts of different varieties. Around these pillars rising up. And there are portals to other worlds at the bottom. These chasms sometimes lead to other worlds. Sometimes they're empty. And sometimes someone lives there. Or even lots of cheerful fish swim there. You can find lots of friends that way. It's never boring here.
A wonderful underwater world. Chub is very pleased. That he has such a world. A chub can find a very small depression like this. And sleep in the shade. It's like night. Very comfortable. And there are plenty of such places. Some of the pillars that go up don't even reach the land. But you can see the sun and lots of sand. You can sit there and relax. The fish has a TV and a chair there. In one of these places.
It's quite deep here. And it's like outer space. A huge expanse. And a variety of landscapes. Which adds variety to this place. And the algae here are so delicious. They vary slightly in color. The fish map this algae. And record the taste. They share with other fish what tasty things each brings. There's a whole world here where fish share tasty things with each other. After all, something grows and you can plant it yourself.
A whole underwater garden. Some beautiful plants. And tasty things to eat. And you can also exchange Dendy cartridges and MS-DOS games. That's also something. There's a portal here for fans of underwater computer games. The fish swim a lot. And he thinks about all sorts of things. He remembers what happened yesterday. And what's interesting to do today. And what to put off until tomorrow.
Chub is a big fish and programs a lot in a variety of systems. For example, his favorite system is MS-DOS. Rybka makes a lot of fun games, lots of underwater strategy games. Turn-based and real-time. And he writes underwater fantasy. Then he'll make a game. And during breaks, he spends a lot of time swimming and eating delicious seaweed. Oh, and he can also listen to music on audio cassettes.

Today's 3D scene is about a carp. It's still a small fish. It's still learning. And it swims. In its pond. The pond is large and varied. The carp lives in murky water. There are some plants growing underneath, like sticks. The water here is yellow. And the carp itself is a similar color. No one sees it here. And there's no one else here except it.
This is its home. This is the entire pond. And the neighboring one. The water there is clear. Lake and river. Everything for the carp. So it can swim and grow. And it's already used to being here. Here you can bury yourself in the sand. Scratch your back and fin on the sand or dry branches. Those are probably algae. The carp keeps trying to guess what kind of packs these are.
The carp swims calmly and leisurely. The water here is murky. There's a lot of sand in it, and this is still water. And there's a lake there. And lots of clear light. And then there's the river. You can build houses in the sand. And there are plenty of them here. The carp have already built everything here.
The carp is a kind and good fish. It swims. And it likes to swim. It knows many friends of other fish. Other carp, for example. They can build sand castles together. This is especially easy to do in still water. And the houses and sand castles will remain just that, especially if you reinforce them with sticks.
When the sand gets boring, there's a river and a lake. The water there is different. Clean. And you can swim there as much as you like. There's plenty of space. But this is the carp's favorite place. The fish loves to hang out here and spends a lot of time.
The carp knows about other fish too. They come from the river. They include pike, perch, and others. There's even a crab here. But the other fish have never seen a crab. And the carp can swim to the surface. To the upper part of the water. But there's nothing interesting there.
It's a quiet and pleasant place. The carp's home. And he has many friends.

Trout also lives in its own pond. The water is green here. Excellent water. Perfect. To do all its business here. To swim. To sleep. To do whatever. The pond is large. With branches off in different directions. It's more fun to swim here. The sand is very soft. You just sink into it. It's easy to bury yourself in it. And there's nothing else there. Just clean sand.
The trout swims around and thinks about all sorts of things. About computer games, magazines with pretty pictures, about songs and records, about funny cartridges. The fish have many hobbies in their fish world. Burying yourself in the sand is also fun. It's so soft. You just bury yourself in there, up to your eyes, and just sit there. Waiting for who knows what. But it's fun. That's how the fish spends its days.
This is the world of fish. Trout live here. They swim. They flap their fins. They swim and dive deeper. It's not that deep. Just perfect for such a fish. It rises higher. The water here is dark green. Everything around is the same. And you can swim into the portal to visit other fish. There's already a common space there for a wide variety of fish. And a wide variety of water. And a river. And the sea. And clear, transparent water. And all sorts of different types and shades of water. The main thing is to set up the portal and swim in.
There are many friends there. You can swim in the sea. The sea is an amazing thing. There's much more water there than in the pond. And much deeper. Down below, the water is already black. But the trout don't dive there. They swim in their own depths. There are many interesting things here.
And there's also clear water. With corals. A beautiful place. There are many rivers. And many other lakes and ponds. Lots of friends swimming there. There's always someone to talk to. And play with. And this is this fish's home. There's no one else here. And the fish swims here peacefully. Drinks tea. Plays a video game. Studies. Relaxes. Lots to do. Trout can also stir up sand from the bottom with their fins. It's fun. They flap their fins and their tail. And the sand rises from the bottom. And they scratch their backs as it settles. To shake it off, just rise higher and swim faster.

It's a simple shooter. Like retro games. Like Space Invaders or Galaga. You move left and right and shoot. Two lines of enemies. They're at the top. And a menu at the bottom. A fantastic underwater, space-themed look. And the signature 320x240 screen resolution. 64-color CGA palette. Everything is perfectly in keeping with the retro theme. And it's programmed in Free Basic using the GVim editor.
A real retro theme! The editor itself is actually quite white. It has a Windows 3.11 interface. That's also great. And everything is unique. There are some monsters in the game. I think they're all underwater on another planet. Or in space. It's up to the player.
There are now enemy animations. So they're not static, but moving. Wriggling. Like, wiggling tentacles. It's a joke. I made an animation for them. It's simple, along the horizon. Move left, then right, and return to the center. Or vice versa. It's the same thing, only to the right. So, according to the formula, they always have a central location. Where they stand. Each one is placed in their own position at the start of the level.
It's already more fun and amusing! They move like this. Each one in their own direction. There are 20 of them. And 10 in a line. And each one moves in their own direction. Some to the left, some to the right. It looks good. Dynamic.
There's also a menu. It's at the bottom. Inside the game. There, in small print, is the level number, the number of lives. And the game score. For hitting an enemy, you get a whopping 10 points. And for destroying an enemy, another 100 points. The number of lives. That's energy. It's more interesting that way. And you have 1,000. By the way, enemies also have 1,000. And in the demo, for now, 1 shot takes off 300 units of energy.
The game menu is finished. It's almost ready. There are still some minor tweaks left. Move some things up. Move the text up. Or down. But that's it. All the text is actually BMP images. And I'm uploading images with text. It's the same story with numbers. A separate font for the numbers. To display numerical information. Like the game score. Or the level number.
I call the levels here "galaxy." And I've programmed an entire system. A module for displaying numbers. And you can also shoot now. These colorful balls. Or like bugs, like bugs. Stars fly out. They can hit enemies. That's already been calculated, too.
The enemies are supposed to be able to shoot, too. But the demo doesn't have that yet. The game is gradually transforming. It's acquiring dynamics. And its own style. As I go along, I'm finishing up the gameplay concept. I added another layer of text to the main menu. Now the game's name is written three times. One layer under the other. It seemed more interesting this way. That was the original idea.
The game is a dark version. A dark purple or dark blue background. Just to make it interesting. Not quite black. And some mysterious monsters. They want a black background, I've already prepared one too. Just a full-screen color. That's the background.
You're also kind of strange, by the way. And you also look similar in your own way to the monsters above. Roughly the same appearance. Only you're probably like a machine. And there are some creatures above. Probably. Inspiration from outer space. From science fiction. And the underwater world. Where strange creatures live. And everything glows. I mean the deep sea world.
By the way, shooting is timed. There's about a 0.2-second pause between shots for the player. Well, so they don't shoot too often. And the bullet buffer is only 10 for the player.
And the enemies have 20. But they won't shoot that much. So they shoot from different directions for the sake of dynamism. To make it more dynamic. Someone fired from the left. There's someone on the right too. And in the middle.
This is already getting closer to gameplay.

Tench - an underwater field and a treat all their own
This beautiful pond with golden sand is home to tench. There are delicious cubes right at the bottom. So delicious that you just want to swim here. The tastes are varied. And the fish swims here. It wags its tail. And its fins. It has a lot of them.
Delicious cubes. That's the specialty of this pond. The tench lives here. Up there, the water is so joyful and golden. You can hear the water murmuring from above. And the blue sky is more visible. So beautiful. And with clouds. The water is clear. And down here, it's not so hot. And the weather is just right. And there's lots of delicious food.
The fish has a home here. And an 8-bit console. And tea to drink. And food grows – all you have to do is swim out of its home. The sand is golden. And it creates a great mood. From morning until night. When you swim, you can go deeper. Like you're in the shade. Or you can swim higher. Into the very light. And into the very heat.
The tench fish lives here. This is its own world. Of course, it swims to visit other fish and other worlds where a whole host of different fish swim. And then it swims back to its home. To sleep. To eat. And to admire the golden sand. So you sit on the sand. And just look at it. It's amazing. You remember something fun you did yesterday. What game you launched, what 8-bit cartridge you tried.
The tench swims a lot. It's always great weather here for swimming. For seeing everything. The water is clear. You can see well here. And it's like an underwater meadow. With beautiful golden sand. New tasty cubes appear every time. And it even makes you want to swim further. To find out what flavors have appeared there. Here with fruit, there with bread. The main thing is to remember where everything appears. That's what the fish does. It records everything on its personal computer.
The tench swims a lot. And it knows this underwater clearing well. The fish's house is made of sand bricks. It makes them with its fins. And the fish's house is very large. And there are small houses. For when it wants something compact and cozy. But otherwise, there's always the big house. And the fish continues to build it. It's very long.
It swims well here. In the house, which is large and long. The fish has a whole collection of computers. They're arranged in a row. In a long corridor. And in another corridor, there are televisions. And you can watch TV from all sorts of worlds. There are so many interesting things to see there. There's a room with consoles and cartridges. The fish is still mastering the 8-bit format.
It's sunny on the surface during the day. It's not cold at night. And the moon and stars are visible. It's so funny to watch how the water distorts the surface. And the fish sees the stars and the moon at night. It tells everyone. All the other fish.

Basic Pascal version 1.21 "Sand Road" – little sun!
Spring is just around the corner. Sunshine. And it's time for a new version of the Basic Pascal set. The keyword for this release is "Sand Road." The game is called "Straight Road." There are four new games in total. Two of them are new, quite noticeable by my standards. And two games are mods, modifications. In other words, they're simply additions to what was already there.
The new feature in this version is the new structure of the set. There's a game folder. Then there's a mods folder. The first folder contains the original games themselves. The second folder contains mods—modifications. A new phenomenon. Modifications. These are already released games, but with some improvements. Something I've long dreamed of. A kind of experiment. Some innovations. But the basics are the same as before.
This is a kind of groundwork for a second version of the game, a reminder of the game, simply a way to do something on this theme again. But without developing from a template or from scratch. With a ready-made, implemented idea. Add something else. Whatever was on my mind. It could be version 1.1 or a patch, you can think of it that way. Some improvements, changes.
And this version has 4 games. 2 fully-fledged new games. And 2 modifications. These are Straight Road, Galixanar, Crosses and Shooting Mod X, Fish Arcade Extreme Mod.
Straight Road. This is a game about a road. And how you drive along it. Top-down view. It's an arcade game. Simple. Not too fast-paced and not very varied. The first version of the idea. As usual for me, for relaxation, and as slow as I am. Monotonous.
Sort of like a racing game, but it's a runner. You're driving a car, top-down view. Two lanes. And traffic. And you just have to avoid oncoming cars. You can't go off the road. There are palm trees on the side and it's spring or summer. The idea is that you're going to the sea. On vacation. A game about vacation. But you can think about anything. About a country road. Or whatever you like.
There are a ton of car sprites. Multicolored. To put you in a good mood. And a sunny game theme. That's why I decided you're going to the seaside on vacation. In a cool car, with the top down. But then again, your imagination can be anything. There's a musical theme. Two melodies.
By overtaking cars, you get points. And there are several levels. And different backgrounds on the side. And a slightly different set of oncoming cars. Mostly just cars. There's a little jeep. The game also has the idea of a bright multimedia project from the early 90s. The first multimedia projects. With graphics and sound.
A top-down car game. In the format of leisurely gameplay. Besides the theme of the first Windows applications, like Windows 3.11 or Windows 95, there's also MS DOS like 6.22 SVGA or VGA with bright graphics. And simple gameplay. Just a relaxing drive.
You have three lives. I also remember a game for the MSX2 system called Road Warrior, and a racing game for the Dendy 8-bit called Highway Star. And it's spring. That's why I named this game release after that game. And the main theme is a road with sand in the middle. And then there's the vertical screen format. Music. Summer. Good mood.
Galixanar. It's an arcade. A space shooter. Like Space Invaders. The screen resolution is 320x200. It's simple. You're below and shooting at the top. And there are two lines of enemies. They move a little. For variety. And sometimes they shoot back.
The level increases. And the activity increases. The enemies become more active. They even move towards you. And when they touch your line, it's game over. So you have to destroy them all.
So, two lines of enemies. 10 per line. They shoot. They move slightly left and right around their set point. And every now and then, they take a step toward you vertically. The classic Space Invaders formula.
I've made games like this before and even considered making it my main theme at one point. Previously, I'd made games more like Galaga. Where the enemies just don't move. It was a static picture. But now I've added movement along the Y axis. And you have to destroy all the enemies in time.
In this game, everything takes place underwater. It's like space. But underwater. On a distant planet. An ocean planet. It's deep. The ocean is poorly permeable to light. And someone lives there. The game's background is either purple or black. It changes from level to level. I also drew sprites. The idea is like fish underwater. Deep-sea fish. Like anglerfish. A bit creepy. Or there was an underwater theme in the game Aqua Nox. And so I also went diving with this game.
Some underwater fish or underwater vehicles. They can glow. Underwater, these creatures or vehicles generate electricity and glow. The soundtrack is gurgling underwater. It's unusual and quiet.
And suddenly you start hearing something. In the silence. Gurgling. Fish theme. The player moves left and right and shoots with the spacebar. An unusual appearance and underwater theme. Gurgling instead of music. Science fiction, a bit of mysticism and mystery. Everything is underwater. It's unusual.
