My friends are always with me. They're plush toys. A cat, an elephant, a bunny, a hippo, a dog. Here they are, resting. Relaxing. They have their own little things to do. Their own fun. I'm always happy to see them. I adore plush friends.
Here's a little cat. He says hello. He has such big eyes. The elephant came over to look. He has a big head. And a trunk. A bunny or a rabbit with huge ears. The hippo is a great friend. And also a dog, a dog, various dogs. And a rabbit, a bunny, or a cat. You can tell I have many furry friends. Kind little animals. They live well. And always have fun.

Kind Animals Cards Version 0.4 "Little Bird" – even with a field! The bird is jumping!
So it's time to make a new issue with kind animals. They've been waiting for a long time. New cards. And new software. It's summer here. And the best time of year right now. Summer. Positive. Joyful and sunny. It's the time of kind animals. They're all running around somewhere.
This is the 4th version. And it's called "little bird." By chance. Last summer. It was a real bird. Running and jumping in the garden. At sunset. A beautiful summer sunset. Soft rays of sun. Such a golden evening, but it's still practically day. Everything is bright. And so sunny. And a bird is running through the bushes. I watched the bird run. What the bird's name is - I don't know.
This version has new cards again. Software update. New software. Nine new cards. With new animals. They're all kind and cheerful. There's even a squirrel there twice. The background is different. The squirrel runs through the trees, and below there's water or a field. There are two of these cards. The distinguishing feature is that it's like one card. But the background is different. And the animals are different. For the first time, a fish appears here. I thought the fish would be something else. Some kind of new cycle. Perhaps. But for now, the fish are also considered kind animals. And fish are needed here too.
There are birds, a mouse, a rabbit or a hare. And even a mole has emerged. There's also a mole. There are lots of birds too. A gray flycatcher, a blue tit. I myself know little even about such birds. This is for convenience and isn't difficult to implement. I'm also learning Visual Basic in VB.NET. Then there are updates to the list—Little List and IconStart. A new setting allows you to specify the path to cards. You specify a folder, and the program searches for them there. New options for the Little List include a random card and printing the list of found cards to a file.
IconStart has also been improved. It now has a Favorites tab with 5 cards. And everything is now in a new control mode—TabControl. The program is sleek and not very tall. But you scroll and see everything. Lots of icons measuring 100 by 30 pixels.

And there's also new software – Landscape Generator. This isn't just a list anymore. A fundamentally new type of program. It's already playful and entertaining. It generates an entire landscape. Pixelated. Made of squares. 10 by 10. A playing field. And some animals live there. You can find a chicken there now. A meadow and a river. From the landscape types. A fundamentally new program. This isn't just a list anymore. But some software that will eventually include cards.
Currently, it has a standard interface, and even a path to the cards. But this isn't used in the program itself. For now, there are only six landscape types. Four types for a field. And two types for a river. And some types of pictures like a field. A chicken lives there. On the right, a text field says something about this landscape. Kind Animals version 0.4 – Landscape Generator – Who lives here?
Who lives here? Look, a river. Look, a meadow. Such green grass grows here. But for now, only one chick lives here. He runs along the virtual grass. Among the flowers. The chick lives in the meadow. But there's no one in the river yet. This is the first version of the Landscape Generator program.
This is the first version of the program. The Kind Animals project includes cards. In addition to the cards, there are also some additional programs. For example, this one. There's a 10 by 10 grid. 50 by 50 pixel squares. These are pictures. And there's a button to create a landscape. And it randomly generates a landscape. There are four pictures of a meadow. And two of a river. And in some of the pictures of the meadow, there's a chick.
There's a text field on the right. It says: A description for this cell on the grid. What's the name? For example, this is a meadow. This is a river. And who lives there? So far, only one chick. And what's the name of the image file? This is a program for fun. I planned it a long time ago, and now it's the first implementation.
It doesn't interact with the cards in any way right now. This is just a demonstration of the idea itself. Landscape generation. And it's created. You can click the "Create Landscape" button. And a new landscape will appear. And this happens every time. Right now, that's the main thing here. Plus, the familiar interface from the Good Animals programs.
These are the settings. Two languages: Russian and English. Colors. Background color and text color. You can specify a new option—the path to the cards. But in this program, this doesn't affect anything.
In the future, in my dreams, the program could generate a landscape based on the specified cards. A duckling card is a meadow. A fish card is a river. And in one of the cards, such an animal seems to live. All this isn't implemented yet. Only landscape generation is there. The first version. A trial version.

I arrived at the countryside by train. It was raining. By the time I got to the train, it hadn't rained yet. It felt like it had rained yesterday. It rained all night. I walked to the train right through the crisp city after the rain the night before. And by the time the train was moving, it rained the whole way. I listened to music on the way and watched the water drip down the window.
When I arrived, I was caught in the rain again. I had to wait for it to stop. Luckily, the rain stopped. And I started gardening. Occupational therapy. Or whatever. My great summer hobby. And even more than that. By the time you grow a garden from seed, it'll be like six months.
This time, I didn't have to plant much. Less than last time. And I got right down to it. I don't remember the names of the plants. I just planted them one by one. In the chosen spot where there was a gap. So that something would grow there too. And that's almost it. Only the small, growing plants remain. Or weak plants. Special attention to the roses. It seems they need very special care. Otherwise, they don't survive. There are roses and some other things left.
I didn't check the Angel Wings rose from last time. But apparently it's gone. It didn't grow. Apparently, not for sure. There was no time. In general, I rarely checked what had grown since last time. How was the lavender growing? The delphinium. It's like lupine. Something similar. I immediately started planting what was left.
I watered the second half of the garden with fertilizer from a watering can. I watered the first half of the garden last time. And it turned out well. Anyway, the Lime Zinnia, or something, has definitely started growing. Actively and has grown tall. Wow! Just like short asters. I was really surprised. You only need to water with fertilizer once every 10 days. The zinnia is growing well! Right at the entrance. It's noticeable. The daisies are growing well since last time, too.
They're also in a prominent spot. These are just the chores of a summer cottage. First phase. Second phase. It was already evening. I was planting what was left, like carrots. Only there were other things. Spinach, Indau. And things like that. It was already raining. Yes, it started raining again. And it had been raining for a long time. With some breaks. And with varying strength. Sometimes it would rain lightly. So I was planting. Then it would get heavier. I was standing to the side of the house.

I have a joystick there. Dvi Tech has an interesting design, and Defender headphones are white. I like Defender. Excellent design and quality. Multimedia products. There are other companies of that type. Good ones too. But there's no mouse or keyboard. But it's a laptop. So the laptop has a keyboard and mouse.
I played some emulators. A NES console. Galaxian. With a joystick before bed. A fun game! Then it was time for bed. You get tired faster and more at the countryside . And I feel like sleeping faster, too. The next day, I walked around the garden. Take some photos. And then took the train back to the city. On the way back. Not a bad day off! Alice and the rabbit began to hop. Taking turns. And they became very happy about it. They began to laugh. And look at each other. They were having fun. It was genuine fun. They jumped like that for quite a long time and laughed.
It was wonderful summer weather all around. Which was made even better by such fun. The field. It was a wonderful field. With the freshest grass. For the rabbit, this is very tasty. And for Alice, it is fun. When everything around is growing. The sun is shining beautifully. In the distance, a couple of white clouds. Such strange shapes.
Alice and the rabbit shook hands again. And began to laugh again. And jump. They found it very exciting. It was hard to say how long they jumped. Time seemed to fly by. And a very long time could have passed. And all the time it was a bright, beautiful day. Summer is so wonderful and endless.

The sky on another summer day. This time, I managed to capture this picture. A gloomy sky. It's summer. It's going to rain. Quite a heavy rain. Long. Gradually, a swarm of clouds forms in the sky. They turn dark. And then it rains. Dark, thick clouds. Summer isn't all about bright, summery days. With beautiful clouds. But there's also rain. And a rainy season. Or not. It depends.
This time, I managed to capture exactly this kind of sky. Gloomy. This was around the afternoon. Toward evening. While I was busy with chores in the garden, I didn't notice how the sky had become like this. I was tired after gardening. So I took a series of photos for the last time. This is just such a sky. The clouds are like puffs of smoke. One cloud piling on another. The clouds flow like a river. And the clouds were somewhere ahead on the horizon, and in a couple of hours they floated right onto your head. Now the sky is right overhead. And everything around is the same. The whole sky. From one side to the other.
It's amazing. I'd gotten out of the habit of going to the countryside for a year. And when I arrived... The sky was clear. So blue and summery. A couple of white clouds. Noticeable size. But there's a lot of light there. Like a huge magical tree. Living for 100 years. And holding within itself a source of magical power. That's how I imagine this album. The opening song.
Magic. This album is dedicated to magic. And some kind of magical knowledge. Which can only be comprehended by listening to music. The mysterious rock band Kiss. And their album, Music from the Elders. The first song. It starts with a very strong rock riff. Rock-style, heavy metal-style, 80s-style. Beautiful composition. Excellent tempo. Sounds like the opening of a rock action movie. But the song is different. More sensitive and more about the world of magic. And witchcraft. Kiss is witchcraft. They even released a comic book series and a computer game about the dark worlds of dark magic.
A powerful rock-style intro. The drums pound, and the singer begins to sing. He has a great voice. And the rhythm continues. The singer sings to the drums. Everything sounds bassy and mysterious. The chorus. It continues to catch you. With a new tempo of singing and a new voice. It's pure fantasy and dark magic, though not evil, rather mysterious and incomprehensible.

It's always autumn on the Orange Island of Autumn. The earth is always orange. The island is quiet and chilly. The trees have already shed all their leaves. And many trees have fallen from the heavy rains of the monsoon season. It's cold here. And the bright sun shines brightly, but doesn't warm. Insects live in the fallen trees. In the leaves underfoot, too.
There's plenty of open space. And gray fog. Further on, it's a bit dark because of the fog. This might not be so safe for a traveler. Visibility is limited. You could get lost. Insects are swarming among the fallen trees. Everything looks the same here. Autumn is cool here. Orange and cold. The trees are leafless. All the red leaves are on the ground.
The autumn weather spreads from here. In some seasons, it spreads very widely beyond this island. The center of autumn is somewhere here. No one knows what this center looks like. You walk and already feel the coolness. It's cold here. The further into the fog, the colder it gets.
Perhaps at first there was plenty of sun and a cool breeze. Now it's not so funny. And cheerful. Even colder. Darker. Fog. The magician from the island said there's an autumn crystal here. And the crystal absorbs sunlight. And then it creates autumn. Can you find this crystal? And does it even exist?
Yes, there are magical crystals. They absorb sunlight or something else. Water or cold. Heat. But to create autumn on such a large scale? It must be a very powerful crystal. You've never encountered anything like this before. You should prepare your most powerful magic. The orange forest has already turned dark, gray, and foggy. It surrounds you tightly. Imperceptibly.
But you don't know what's here. A tomb? Some powerful wizard or necromancer. There must be a magical presence here. Creating autumn. Crystal or not. You're not so sure anymore. Balag4C and Flynix – deep space – underground ocean
The BASIC theme continues. I'm currently drawing pictures and thinking up some text for two projects. One format – the next version of Galagaxian. One game is about an underwater world. The other is about deep space. In one, everyone swims underwater. In the other, they orbit a rusty mechanical star.
Now everything is in a text file, and I've started drawing sprites. Both games will have a rendered background. And sprites. Each game has its own set of sprites. And its own small text section. Which describes what's happening.
It's fantastic. In both cases, but different. In terms of gameplay, it's a Galagaxian clone. Move left and right. And shoot. And enemies from above. In a line. Now I'll tell you about the art part. That's what it all started for.
Balag4C. This means that 4S is 4 colors. Again, the MS-DOS palette is SGA. I use only 4 colors. The white lines are the submarines themselves. Think of them as spaceships. The surrounding world is just water. But it's essentially the same as space. The blue background is water. The white is the outlines of the ships. Like spaceships. Only underwater.
Balag4C. Underwater. I had this idea a long time ago. This is Lake Baikal. It's probably cold. And deep. Very deep. That's the game. There's a crack under the water that leads downwards. A large underwater portal. And there's an underground ocean. Like in caves. There are underground rivers or large pools of water. And there's a civilization there. It's not known whether they know about this portal to the surface or not. But they're very busy with their own affairs in their underground ocean. The submarines look like spaceships—they're called Balags. And they swim there. And it's an action game or a shooter. And that's why there's such chaos. Everyone's shooting and swimming and busy with that. That's the idea.
Flynix. It's about space. About distant, dark space. So far away from here it's hard to imagine. And something unique is happening there. Mechanical evolution. Made of gears and all that. There are mechanical stars. Rust is ejected into space. And everything is so old and rusty. Flyniks are mechanical flies that live under a mechanical sun that spins like rusty, dark orange gears. And they eat rust. There's a rusty mechanical evolution there, which created these mechanical creatures. Rust and iron. A mechanical sun. And mechanical flies. Something unique is happening there, too. Some kind of chaos. Movement. Interactions.
Essentially, they will be roughly the same. Just some things will be different. Text and sprites. Graphics. I'm already formulating that. I'm continuing the idea of these shooters. I've only just begun, so to speak. With a drawing and an idea. The story is a text screen. There are no gameplay features yet. The games will most likely be in 800x600 or 1024x768 resolution. They'll be based on SGA shooters, which are 800x600. So there will be a choice of languages. The text will be text. Sounds. MP3 music. Technically, it's all already been worked out.
I'm making two games at once for now because I just draw and compose. I finish one. I'm tired. I start another. That's the simplest. The creative process. This is a very initial stage. Starting with an artistic idea. Each game will have its own style of art. Both are fantastic. The second game, Flynix, is full-color, 256 colors. And the first, Balag4C, is in 4 SGA colors. The theme is deep space—deep ocean. Deep space—underground ocean.

Alice was making up her mind. She would go to Mushroom Valley. There were magical, enormous mushrooms there. Beautiful and large. Alice knew it. It was as if she had been in a dream and had seen this place before. But she had long forgotten about it. Large mushrooms. With red caps. It was a beautiful sight for the eyes.
Alice would walk there and gaze at these colorful caps. It was beautiful. That's how Alice imagined this place. Fabulously beautiful. And she was already heading towards Mushroom Valley. For now, the forest was ordinary. Dark. And dense. And probably soon there would be something else. Alice couldn't remember the details. Maybe she had never been there. Or even in a dream.
Alice walked. Along the path. Black earth. Leaves. Trees. And grass growing. There are no mushrooms in sight yet. And she's even curious about what it will look like. Alice will see it soon.
Mushroom Valley. An interesting choice. You walk and wait to see what happens next. Large caps will soon appear. And they will be red mushrooms. White mushrooms. With black, white, and red spots. Like in fairy tale pictures. Alice loved reading fairy tales as a child. But now she's grown up and stopped reading them. Now she thinks she was very wrong about that.
Soon there will be something new for the eyes. And there will be somewhere to walk again. The forest will probably end soon. And give way to something else.

Alice has made a decision. And she will go to the ant village. She's seen them before. And they're quite nice, even. They must have a whole village there. Little houses. Gray or brown ones made of branches. They stand on legs. And ants walk along the ladders. That's how she imagined it. As if she knew it would all be like this.
She had already started walking. And left the sign behind. There was nothing new in sight yet. Black earth. For excellent growth of flowers and plants. Lots of tall trees. Grass. Tall, too. Where there are fewer trees. And more light penetrates.
She'll probably see something. When she gets closer to the ant village. And for now, she just needs to keep going. And what interesting wooden houses they must have. Just like fairy-tale houses on legs. So it seemed to Alice. He couldn't know. But she thought she was sure of it. But she didn't understand how she knew.

Without a flash, it's impossible to take pictures. This zombie is swinging. And lucky he missed the chair. He couldn't grab it. On the first try. But he kept trying. And he grabbed the chair just fine. And swung it pretty well. Time to leave this room.
You can hear the chair falling. It hit the glass. And broke it. Right where he needed to go. Not a very skillful throw. But with the right direction. It could have worked. It's good that the camera lingered there. Only after the chair fell. He walked there. And left this place. But all places here are like that. A quiet, abandoned place it seems. Broken glass. Another day off. That means I'm taking the train to the countryside. A two-hour drive. Grass and greenery outside the window. Beautiful summer. The greenest summer ever. My last week of June at the countryside. I arrived at the countryside. Quickly ate some canned chicken soup. And then went planting. Planting flowers. Turns out there were still plenty of them.
I quickly started planting. There were so many plants. I mixed them all up. So I can't remember what everyone's called. There were a lot of daisies. I've already memorized them. Lavender has also grown there. It smells good. And it's supposed to repel ticks. So I have two types of lavender: blue-eyed and something else. I've planted lavender in different parts of my garden. I'll see if it helps. They also say garlic repels vampires. I haven't tried that. I'll test it out with lavender to see if it repels ticks.
The space in my allotted garden is slowly running out. And now I'm filling in the gaps. There are spots where nothing has grown or where I haven't planted anything. I'm planting as best I can, working on the last remaining bit. The daisies have their own spot – to the side. There are lots of them. I've been busy planting. I've gotten the hang of it. I'm planting one plant after another. As quickly as I can, but without overexerting myself. Sometimes I have to walk around the garden to find a free spot. Or catch my breath, too. Otherwise, I've been planting for hours. Excellent work therapy. Even beneficial.
So, I didn't really notice other things. I've gotten the impression that this kind of work therapy is actually beneficial after the winter blues. It's beneficial to feel tired. It's not mental pain, but fatigue. A shift in consciousness. To just fatigue. At first, it's intense. But then you get used to it and just get tired. And you realize – now you can rest. So, this is also a flow of emotions.
During the break, I ate some tomato soup. Also delicious. Fried potatoes and oatmeal for dinner. Tea. Everything's pretty good. Mexican chicken. Chicken with rice. Everything's good. Even when it's hell. I already remembered mosquitoes flying around during the day. They bite. But I even like that. Or big flies - horseflies. That's how flies are. They fly around during the day. Huge ones. They bite. They circle around. I even like that.
Everything is nice under the hot sun. After winter. It's even great how they bite. Even that's great. Although there are a lot of these flies around you - they create a feeling of discomfort. Then a new place. Carrots. I didn't replant them. It's difficult. And I just continued planting lettuce leaves, radishes, dill, and something similar. First, I dug up some soil. Then I scattered the seeds. First, in lines. That's good. But it takes a long time. And then I dug up squares and scattered the seeds, and then sprinkled them with soil.
