Fiddlehead Second Fiddle Double IPA (Picked up at Whole Foods in Spring House, PA). A 4 of 4. Tons of citrus, pine, and a fainter tropical fruit presence behind it in the nose. Very West Coast in style and one of the better ones that I've had from the East Coast. The body is firmly bitter and has much the same hop profile as the nose, with a dry finish on a medium to lighter body that’s a bit prickly.
Was sketching a little bit and came up with a first design for Second Fiddle, the pompous and smarmy aft who's Fools Shot co-captain and one of the reasons why Phoenix (no matter the universe/au) had a hard time with his last crew.
[It's got a smoky taste from the bacon. I grew up with my mom's meatloaf, but I am really in love with Sam, and it hurts very much. So, Mom takes second fiddle now? Yeah. Okay.]
