[Beams, nodding her head. Her brows raise as he continues to speak, smile gracefully fading, though expression still pleasant.] Well, I wouldn’t say a leap; but you both certainly did a good job! You even placed and it was your first time entering; I’d say it’s a success for sure.
[Smiles a second time, a light laugh escaping from her.] Well, thank you. To be honest, I didn't think they’d even pick me. Maybe they put names in a hat or something...[Shrugs.] But I like food and I don’t dislike too many dishes, so I figured I give it a shot.
