About the “Down with Deku” thing! My headcanon for Vigilante Bakugou is Graffiti Artist Bakugou. His goal is to be wherether Deku should be before him and do his job to spite him. Also leave the “Down With Deku” graffiti everytime, so that Deku knows he’s still better than him, even though he’s not a hero like him. Since he can’t see Deku as often as he wants to hate him in person, the graffiti serves as a nice substitute. Deku is confused.

I also wrote an angsty hurt/comfort kiribaku drabble for this! That’s my second drabble, so still long way to go as a writer. I’m so sorry I did that. I even cried while writing. Kirishima deserves better but the idea just came to my head and wouldn’t leave. You can read it under the cut and judge me.

Prompt #2 - Sway

He steeled himself as the motion caused his body to move to the left. Then, to the right. He could barely keep his feet steady.

In slight panic he held on to the gunwale of the large ship. Of course it was expected that there would be large waves at sea, but this… Never had he crossed such an enormous body of water before and after this experience he did not look forward to similar journeys in the future. The fact that his dear sister had done the same years ago terrified him further.

Cyrus was concerned. Not only with himself and the fact he was surrounded by nothing but monstrous waves that threatened to throw him overboard but also for his companion. Zo’ogai’s expression was the definition of fear as he sat pressed up against the wall of the forecastle.

With wobbly and stumbling steps did he finally dare to let go of the gunwale and move to check on him. At least it didn’t seem like any of them was about to lose their supper… For now.

“Zo’ogai, are you alright?” Cyrus searched in the Xaela’s terrified eyes as they met his. The question seemed to have startled him out of his paralyzed state. He did not answer though, as expected. Cyrus was used to not getting a word out of Zo’ogai by now. Instead his friend did something that could be seen as a ridiculous attempt to seem tough; he frowned, letting out a ‘huff’ before another wave changed his expression back to the same scared one he had before.

Cyrus could only sigh in return, though the same wave took him by such surprise he actually tumbled over, rolling a few yalms away on the deck. Now it was Zo’ogai’s turn to look concerned as he suddenly stood, horrified at the thought of him falling overboard. Before he had the chance to do anything though a crew member approached them with hurried steps, helping Cyrus get up on his feet.

“’Tis too much fer ye two landcrabs t' be here, get below deck!” he urged them. Cyrus did not complain and managed to make Zo’ogai move from his spot. Anyone willing to spend their days in hard weather like this was either very brave, or very insane.

He prayed they would arrive in Eorzea soon.
