Language and Communication

Language can be hard even if you're paying attention. Communication is easy, but only effective if you're paying attention. The difference? Language has a ton of rules. Not very many people care, and fewer know them. Communication seems to have just one rule: The intended audience must understand you. Misspellings, grammar and punctuation errors, capitalization, none of that matters so long as you are understood.

Me? I specialize in both. Or, so I thought. If that's the case, why do I often feel misunderstood?

sometimes i wonder if i had done the right thing. if letting go of you was the right thing to do. it’s been a month since we last saw each other, since we last talked. to be honest i’ve been itching to call/chat/text you just to hear from you, but decided against it and told myself to wait a bit more so that i could talk to you properly in personal, that is if i don’t chicken out and avoid you for months...

I think I know why INTPs tend to second-guess themselves

INTP dominant function is Ti (Introverted Thinking). Because Ti is an internal thinking, INTPs usually keep their analysis for themselves. They seek logical explanation inside their heads. The auxiliary function of INTP is Ne (Extraverted Intuition). This function seek pattern and possibilities. This is how Ti-Ne work that makes INTP second-guess themselves. They analyse something inside their head, they seek logical explanation about something. But then they explore and find the possibilities about their analysis. That makes them second-guessing whether their logical analysis is right or not. I don't know if it's true, though. (See? I already am second-guessing myself)
