     raven was basically forbidden to partake in any of pike’s stupid plans.      mostly because he didn’t want anyone slowing them down, but that      was fine with her considering she didn’t want anything to do with starting      yet another war with the grounders. but unfortunately with pike as the      new chancellor, raven had to do what she was told. that included getting      them working walkie talkies -- which she managed to leave in the humvee.      approaching the vehicle she wasn’t expecting to see octavia, she could      tell something was up with the younger girl so she decided to keep her      distance. ‘i forgot something.’ she slowly moved over to the door on the      opposite side from the girl and reached in to grab the handheld devices      she came for before closing the door and wandering back into octavia’s      view. slightly worried about the other girl, she spoke up. ‘you okay?’

      ‘this is frustrating.’ she let out a sigh, burying her face into her       hands for a moment as she tried to refresh her memory on the       words. raven had been wanting to learn how to speak trigedasleng       for a while now. she was picking up on words here and there from       hearing other people speak, but never enough to be able to even       understand the smallest part of the language, not to mention having       more people to translate would help greatly. and really, who better       to teach her than octavia? she had most of the language down so      it wasn’t as if she wasn’t eligible to teach her. ‘you make learning      it look easy.'

The room had been cleared, leaving very few behind. The adrenaline of the betrayal was still running through her veins while she attempted to control her anger. Green eyes fell on the only intruder that had remained behind after the ceremony was interrupted by the tragic news. “I need to know exactly what happened tonight.”

         her ears still ring from the crashing sound of the missile against the grounder territory. even from the woods, the cries of PAIN and FEAR could be heard as clearly as if she were in the middle of it all. a single hand shakes at her side uncontrollably while the other grips the recently fired weapon; her heart pounds violently against her ribcage. she’s not ( proud ) of what she’s done and it doesn’t feel like the right decision despite lexa’s attempts at telling her so. more GUILT has been forced upon her shoulders and she’s not sure she can withstand the weight any longer. 

         legs carry her toward the wreckage, each step feeling as if it would be her last. no one would ever understand WHY she and the commander did what they did; why the pair wouldn’t have warned their own people in order to save lives. if asked, she would have no answer. at least no answer that she would fully believe herself. oceanic hues wander around the rubble, her gaze settling on a determined warrior she silently admires.    ❛   octavia.  ❜    she’s not surprised to see the female still standing, but she’s THANKFUL to say the least.
