For this image I used one studio light with barn doors. The camera used for taking this was a canon 500D, it was set with an ISO of 100, a shutter speed of 1/125 of a second, an Aperture of F/8 and a zoom of 36mm. The equipment that has been used to take this photograph was a hot shoe to set of the flash of the studio lighting instead of just using the model light. I also used a light reader to make sure the shutter speed and aperture were set correctly according to the strength of the light so that my image wasn't over or under exposed.
I really like this image of @miriamalicogc because of the shadows on her face and how you can only just see her left eye coming through the shadows. I also really like how the eye that you can see id the main focal point of the photograph and it has a really nice catch light in it, with her hands on her face it helps to lead up to looking at the eye. However with adding the hands and arms in again it was a risky move as I had to make it look as though the hands and arms weren't just photoshopped in. Saying that I fell that with having them in the photograph it adds more emotion to the image, there is so much that this photograph can say. It speaks a lot for not speaking at all and thats why I really like this image and wanted to use it as my final side light photograph.
