Jackie was pacing nervously in his dorm room, fiddling with his hands as he tried to ready himself for this talk. He texted his roommate, Star, a while ago and explained that he had something important to talk to her about. And now she was on her way back from class, which was terrifying.
Star was an absolute sweetheart in Jackie's opinion, so he had high hopes that this would go well. Hopefully, they could adjust together. Just thinking about the possibilities made him really happy. He could make his hair shorter, get some different clothes, and finally, maybe he could start binding.
It was a realization he had a few months ago that he might be transgender, and after some research he found he was right. Being seen and refered to as a girl was so incredibly uncomfortable, but telling other people was so much more terrifying.
