Margaret Wells, Lydia Quigley, and Emily Lacey. 😘
Fuck: Who am I to refuse an invitation to the Temple of Bliss!
Marry: Hm … Lydia. Bear with me: this is purely an economic move. A business arrangement. Lydia has money and a thriving business, and presumably, in this version of events, I have something that could prove valuable to her in turn … So think of it less as a marriage and more as a merger. We never have to touch one another, we simply benefit from each other’s resources and everyone wins. Hopefully including Lydia’s girls, as I’d like to introduce some reforms re: the way she treats them. Maybe we can get HR in here and draw up an Employee Handbook to start.
Get drunk with: Margaret, for all the reasons given in a previous answer.
Thanks for the ask!
STAUNCH?
Recently got a question in to the blog - have any of you staunch characters ever heard of or seen a letter or handwritten note where Little Edie wrote the word staunch? Thanks - answers below!

I hope TPTB do something more original then they did when they ended Good Wife and let one of their leads have a steady relationship. It would be nice to see a strong relationship for an older couple that just happens to be sexy as hell.
I HOPE SO TOO, MY FRIEND. I’m a little nervous trusting any ship in their hands, tbh. But they have plenty of lives to ruin now; can’t Diane at least have her happily ever after, and starting NOW, please, I can’t take another year of this??? I keep going back and forth. But I still think it’s gonna be okay.

✋✋✋✋I'm nervous too! But, I do have some hope left.
SAME! It’s too early to call it, and tbh, everything looks positive except for a few last-minute distractions which may have been meant as exactly that, distractions. The whole arc has been toward reconciliation. Let’s have that come to its natural conclusion now, please.

Honey you need to get out of your bubble of 5 OQ...
I do not understand this Anon at all.
That’s apparently because you are one of the 5 OQers. I wonder who the other four are.
secretsfromtheriver replied to your post “no spoilers but the end of big little lies made me sob”
It was so fantastic and satisfying! I didn't realize you were watching too!!!!
YES I loved it!! I haven’t tumbld about it a lot because going into the show tag is usually an awful experience -- I find it’s usually 80% romanticized perry posts and while I get that it’s about the actor and not the character, that isn’t something I enjoy looking at.
BUT! The show was so great and I love all of the ladies and the ending, just, god, it killed me. I don’t even know where that came from but I sobbed. Parts of it may have been expected but not exactly how it went down. Like. LADIES PROTECTING LADIES PROTECTING LADIES PROTECTING LADIES. I LIVE FOR THIIIIIIIS
@secretsfromtheriver aw thank you :) i was just confused bc its in my drafts and i didn't know if it was something i wrote but it probably is

I thought that when she brought on Chum Hum, she used it as leverage to become a name partner. Could be wrong, but I’ve been wanting to find a solid answer to this too.
The events so far, as I recall:
She said it; Adrian said there would need to be some negotiating done but it’d happen; it disappeared.
