Witchtip for a pop culture witch ?
If you like pokemon and you like sigils just draw your sigils as the unknown pokemon. To people who dont know pokemon youll just seem like youre being geeky and to the people who do youll just seem like youre drawing cartoons in your arms.
No one will ever think youre a witch
Secret witch ideas for moving
So I got some tricks up my sleeve and I'm sure it sucks to have family members help you move so I got shit to help y’all
- Get a box, and add a couple clothes in there, then put a couple of your witchy shit in it, and cover with another layer of clothes. continue and repeat!
- Only bring what you need, I realized I was hoarding a bit when I was moving and finding whats necessary to bring over. NOTE: If you're going to use it more than once, bring it.
What I bring:
Herb jars
bells & metals
Crystals
Books
expensive shit
Leave:
Things you can buy at the new home for less than $10
Candles
Biodegradable shit
Common herbs (shit you can get at the grocery store)
- Give as much as your witchy shit that you don't need away (I gave a lot to my friend)
- Selling takes too much time but if you want to have at it, more money in your pocket ¯\_(ツ)_ /¯
- Have someone be your storage unit until you're settled in! (let my friend hold my cauldron)
- Another hiding idea: get a shoebox and fill it with your small witchy shit (tealight candles, bells, etc.) then wrap it with a shirt/blanket, then put into different, bigger box with more clothes n such.
- Pack your tarot in a tarot bag it helps keep them from being snoopy (for added effect, add a hidden from prying eyes sigil or something)
- Pack the less obvious witchy shit (something someone wont think wtf when they see it) and hide the more obvious (ya know, grimoire, your wand, etc.)
Hey all you witches out there!
For those of you who are interested in tarot/divination and cant afford a deck yourself, or have one due to people finding out, or other reasons, i know a few lovely apps that will help you!
Galaxy Tarot
Golden Thread Tarot
Luminous Spirit Tarot
Labrinthos
All will help you learn tarot and are free in the android app store/ios store
Now onto my Plant witches!~
There’s an app called Viridi, that allows you to grow a virtual succulent garden, and if you by the expanded room you can have more pts to plant. You’ll get a free seedling each week.
Finally I have some general apps for you all
Evernote
Simple Moon Calander
Evernote is great to use as a virtual Grimoire, or as a back up to your physical one!
The calander is just good for showing the exact phase of the moon each day and for the rest of each month!
All of these are totally free though I’m not sure all of them are on the iphone app store but all are free on the andriod appstore.
Witchcraft in the Hair Store
Before these shelves would full with chemical relaxers and heavy salt and alcohol based shampoo but when black women stop being ashame of thier natural hair a transition in beauty supplies
now these shelves are full of heavily oil based butter cremeS and oil and this is where the witchcraft part comes in. if youre not fond of inscenes...inscents.....IN-SC ( ok we will watch me struggle later without auto correct) or stealing spices out the cupboard or buying them from the supermarket-try going to you local beauty supplies store and using oils!
Oils like anything else have properties and oh my non bimary where there tons of oils; safflowers, sunflower, almond, rosemary, grapeseed, rosehip, lavendar, coconut, mint, garlic ,olive,CINNAMON,BEAR???,EMU??? (o_o im not lying about the last two )
Also along with not having to burn them, they were cheaper than essence oils (you know ..the aroma oils that come in a bottle the size of your thumb and cost 16.99usd) most of these were all 4.00 to 9 dollars. Also you can recyclable the bottles for other witchy endeavors
I admit I be a little over excited and taken aback since itsbeen a while seen i attempted to tack care of my hair but I just thought it was too good of an option not to mention. ( but SERIOUSLY what in the deities is emu oil?! )
At work. Had nothing to do but read. #secretwitch #witch #wiccan #secret #celticmagic #celtic #magic https://www.instagram.com/p/B64tO7xjd9I/?igshid=tlolnd8ddzsj
I just want to take a moment to remind fellow secret witches that you are valid, your beliefs are valid, and your magic is valid. I am currently in a living situation where I have to hide my craft and it is easy to get down on myself and feel like what I love, believe and practice are unimportant. So I need constant reminders. I appreciate all the posts on my dash that reassure me that I am a wonderful witch, even though I can’t be as open and wild and free as I want to be right now. So I say again;
YOU ARE VALID
YOUR BELIEFS ARE VALID
YOUR MAGIC IS VALID

I see posts in #Witchblr all the time where people have screenshots of their witchy apps 😂 And I feel so lame because other witches have runes and tarot cards and herb apps and so on... But me? I have Tumblr, Discord for witchy servers, my google docs to back up all of the stuff I’ve learned on Witchblr, the #STONES app for my crystal info, and Soundcloud for #CraftAndCast podcast #ImSoLameLOL #SecretWitch
