paul just asked me if i was upset about something bc i gave a short and quiet response i gave after he thanked me for letting the dogs out, then asked me if i was upset. i said no bc itd turn into a shitstorm and im too sad to deal with excuses

i wonder what i could be upset about. ​just..the absolute audacity of him asking me if i was upset.

i get what ur saying and i *am* intersex. idk like. this whole thing reminds me of transphobic women saying trans women can't ever be women because they can't have a period/don't have to fear pregnancy and therefore will never face TRUE misogyny and therefore can't be women. i am intersex because i was born with a hormonal condition- if a perisex person were to start E without going on T-blockers and wanted to call themselves intersex... like, yeah. your body is doing the same shit mine is. welcome to the family, are the doctors being dickheads abt it yet?

Thank you. I appreciate you reaching out to me to give your own perspective. I have not yet started down the track of medical transition. still socially transitioning and seeing how it feels. But yeah I imagine that if I did get hrt I wouldn't get hormone blockers too, iso long as I could find a doctor who would let me do that. Similarly if I got bottom surgery, i wouldnt get a removal, just an addition. But I live in the UK, so there are some extra barriers to overcome here too. Since we dont have an 'informed consent' system of seeking medical help here, unfortunately. Instead you have to go through a humiliating and deliberately drawn own process of *proving that you're trans enough to earn the medicine*. which is fucked.
